Even walked between Conejitas and Ejecutivo a few times around midnight. I had my head on a swivel and was ready to run at the slightest threat. But even then, stupid thing to do.

This is one of two reasons I always order uber or didi on behalf of girls and never hand over cash or entertain conversations about fares. The other reason is the convenience of being able to track arrivals and departures, especially arrivals. You can never get the time back that you spend sitting, waiting, and wondering when or if a girl will show up. Guys who are on short trips should never piss any of it away doing that. It's so much better to have an ETA countdown available, along with an upfront cost. It's 2025, let's take advantage of what's available to us.

They open messenger conversation with you and hit the + sign next to the chat box and menu pops up and "Location" is a choice they select then you can track them.

I learned this after I had been waiting for a chica for an hour who said she had already left and I texted her and she sent me a picture of her in the car. Problem is when she showed up (an hour and forty-five minutes late all together) she as wearing a red dress and the photo she sent me of her in the car she had on a yellow top??

I'm visiting Medellin in a couple of weeks and have booked a stay at Hotel Nutibara in El Centro, as I've heard great things about its proximity to Plaza Botero and Parque Berrío. My flight lands at 9 PM, and I expect to be out of the airport by around 11 PM after immigration.

Would it be safe at that hour to take the Airport-Nutibara bus to the final stop just right behind the Nutibara hotel and a 2-minute walk with my luggage or would you recommend taking an Uber directly to the hotel entrance instead?

Personally, I would take a cab, which only cost about $20 usd and will get you there quickly and safely.

I'm not concerned about the $20 cost of a cab, I was actually thinking that taking a public bus that drops me off right behind the hotel might be safer than riding alone in a taxi around midnight.

I haven't used the bus in about 10 years, but I assume it's still OK.

As far as safety with a cab, if you use Uber or Didi, you should be safe. The driver is registered with the app. You have to go upstairs to departures to use Uber. They don't come around arrivals because there are already airport white taxis on the arrivals floor that don't like the competition of Uber. When you arrive, there will be various people there trying to get you to ride with them. I would avoid those people. Use the bus or Uber instead.

You can also use one of the official white airport taxis and the prices should be posted and they are more expensive than Uber.

Yes, I really like knowing exactly when they are going to arrive. The one time I didn't send an Uber for a girl she had a dude she was living with (not a BF) and trading favors (fucking for rent) arrived with her to my Airbnb. He wanted to see who she was fucking. As if that would make him feel better. It didn't. He mean mugged me while I opened the gate and let her whilst I smiled and waved to him.

You may want to be a bit more specific about what kind of food you are looking for, and then I'm sure there will be some recommendations.

It is a very short walk because it is right behind the hotel, you walk in past the in-hotel restaurant if you don't feel comfortable going around.

I still think it is fine. The in-hotel restaurant might be closed thou so you might have walk around to the front desk. However, if you haven't been to the area at night and not familiar with it, I'd just go with uber / taxi option.
