Dude, I would suggest you read the forum 'thoroughly'. It may be too late as you are already well into your trip. But seriuosly, you should have read AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE before your trip. YOu could have gained valuable knowledge about all of your concerns based on other member's contributions to the forum.
Before I travel anywhere, I always do my homework. I want to have as much info in my arsenal as possible. This will save you by giving you foresight as to which course of action to take. When bullshit happens.
IF you are going to be there for a bit longer, read as many pages as you can to gain knowledge. You should know the going rate for walking street, bar girls, go-gos, etc. Then you have the leverage to negotiate. If you meet a girl, sit with her and negotiate. Based on this knowledge. As an American, you can use baseball. If the chick throws you strikes (these are red flags). Consider ditching her. There are TOO many girls out there to stress over one. Besides, use common sense. She is for hire but is giving a potential client (with money) grief?
