On the other hand if you did happen to find a lone female Japanese traveler in the hotel bar so long as you were half-way attractive and charming it could work out very nicely, because relative to most other places women in Japan are more open to discrete one night stands.

Geographically Gotanda will be the closest area with any sort of action, but otherwise the Yamanote Line will get you easily to the usual places (Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Sugamo etc.)I might be wrong about any of the above though.

Ebisu is more of an upscale area, and I think there have been reports of delivery type services in the past, it's not a famous place for P4P. Shibuya, Shinjuku will be your best bets. Distance-wise Shibuya might be your best bet, but prices will be around the 20, 000 yen range depending on how long you want to play. If you want to play below 10, 000 yen, then Shinjuku, Ikebukuro are probably better choices but you will then have to get on the train (or higher taxi fare). I suggest looking at the previous reports for pointers on places that will accept foreigners.I wouldn't even try approaching the Westin massage staff for services. I couldn't imagine the response you would get. I cannot comment on if the hotel will allow a delivery girl into the hotel, or if the service will allow the girl to service customers in a well known hotel like the Westin. I've stayed there several times, but haven't used the in-house massage services, but it's not China, so I doubt anything is on offer. I found the lobby bar to be VERY quiet. You see gorgeous girls in the lobby, but they're waiting for Japanese friends. I've read reports in the forum of a couple places in town down by the subway stop, but I haven't had time to check them out. The hotel is very convenient to public transportation, and you can take the JR line to Shinjuku or the subway to Roppongi.

Like the previous poster, I will also be staying at high-end hotel in Tokyo(Park Hyatt). Will girls from AM, for example, come to the hotel (and will they get hassled on the way in?) Or does one meet the girl in the bar first?

You will find the phone operator at AM very helpful and knowledgeable about whether any particular hotel is girl friendly or not. I suspect their stable of providers have visited just about every type of hotel available over the years. Just call them and ask.
