Has anyone on this board tried to flim monger sessions with a GoPro? One of those hero cameras? I like to take some film of the girls I'm with because I can't remember anything and enjoy reliving me vacation from time to time. So I was thinking about getting one, just for that purpose. How is the quality?

GE[/QUOTE]Actually its not the men who have the anger so much as the trailing spouses. The men know things can get screwed up but we all know that there are, how to say, compensations for being resident in Manila.
The wives however are in a state of endless frustration. Firstly they are never sure how to treat the home help, whether to be firm and stiff, or friendly and fake. They then worry that the home help will allow "sir " to see them in a near naked state when showering etc. As the trailing spouse has of course gone to seed with her white version of the jollibee belly.
They know every time they go to the mall, hubby will pretend to only see the walls and the floor, whereas wife knows that every girl of legal or non legal age is looking at hubby with lust in her slim brown attractive heart.
So then come the dinner parties the wives talk about how much they hate being in country, how bad everything is and seethe with the aforementioned anger. The hubbies do well to shut up, put on the empathetic face at appropriate moments and try not to wink with a smile at the other hubbies (specially if they had a hot afternoon session chez Sogo)

Sxxx comment was an incredibly heartless and selfish thing to say. To condemn a whole population of people to endless poverty just so he can get his rocks off at bargain basement prices is disgraceful. The sad thing is that there are probably many guys here who will leap to his defence.

Reliable info states, that, as per PH Law, the Mugindanao massacre suspects are trying to get an Affidavit from some of the Victims' kins, so that the case will be withdrawn and the blame pinned on the other vicitm. The Gov Mangadatu, whose wife and campaign team was massacred.
As per PH law, it is perfectly legal it seems, to do such a thing, and the suspects are heading in that direction, which may be finalised once a compensation plan is agreed to the 58 odd dead people's relatives (excluding the primary victim / candidate Mangadatu of course.)

Personally, I try to make it good for any girl, or indeed any person I meet in the PI. The only exception are taxi drivers. With the girls, its gifts, cash, and a nice experience. I know it is for me. For the doormen, waiters and average male Filipino, I appreciate their courtesy and generally upbeat attitude. I look to tip them whenever I can. If I get overcharged sometimes, I don't sweat it. Its part of the 'social contract' between a single male visitor like myself and the Filipino population.
Am I one of those 'exploiters' that the Kilt and those foolish tv documentaries focus on? I don't think so. I enjoy what the country has to offer. I don't overthink it and am acutely aware of my minuscule impact on a nation of 100 million. I think it was Natty Bumpo who once said that he tries to have fun with every personal interaction when in the PI. Hear hear!

DD, you seem to have misread the posts.
RK didn't say "exploit", that was Hutsori quoting the media.
You also seem to misrepresent what was written in the original post by Sxxx . I'm guessing that Sxxx just used a poor choice of words. I basically agree with what Hutsori wrote.
To be fair, I do think RK's post was a bit harsh. And thanks for clarifying the fact that RK doesn't run the Philippines.

Already the so-called "middle-class", which includes teachers and call center operators, are benefitting from much larger pay packets.
I don't think I was at all harsh in what I said.
If an improved economy means less easy access to sex for occasional tourists then that's just bad luck. I doubt much will change in my life-time though.
