Before I travel anywhere, I always do my homework. I want to have as much info in my arsenal as possible. This will save you by giving you foresight as to which course of action to take. When bullshit happens.

IF you are going to be there for a bit longer, read as many pages as you can to gain knowledge. You should know the going rate for walking street, bar girls, go-gos, etc. Then you have the leverage to negotiate. If you meet a girl, sit with her and negotiate. Based on this knowledge.
