Legally they can't arrest you if there is no trace or proof you paid money to girl.

Friend of mine got busted in Mumbai by police in 3 star hotel. He ask girl to say both are couple. Police still ask money than he call his lawyer friend and than police asked money for 10 k from each girl and friend he paid and escape. Hotel its fine very less chance if group sex racket not going on. But if it's like. Brothel than full chance to get f* by police. Avoid where SP keep. Girls. At house and each room. Strictly by definition of law, customers cannot be charged under any relevant clauses in ipc. In one such recent case, high court actually freed the arrested customers and said they cannot be charged.

However it's not the legal game that you need to be worried about. It's about extortion. Having money and having to hide that you were with a prostitute is a deadly combo. That's is what extortion gangs as well as police do. So generally guys pay anything between 20 k to 3-4 lakhs to get out of the trap. Most of the times in a raid, police let's customers go. They do not charge the girls either. They are rescued and sent to a shelter. Only the agents generally are charged

Nothing works first they arrest. And produced to court within 24 hours. If its holiday will be sent to central jail. They don't keep them in lockup. When court reopens they will be produced to court.
