My reports tend to be long so if you don't like to read you can skip over it. I landed at Congonhas last night at 10:15 pm. Had my luggage and was checking into my hotel by 11:00 pm. When coming to Sao Paulo, if you can fly into Congonhas (CGH) it will save you a ton of time. I had a quick shower, an apple, and went to the lobby to wait for my ride to Scandallo. They have a guy who provides free transport to the venue. He WhatsApped me 20-min prior and told me he had a group that put him behind schedule. Wouldn't be able to pick me up until 12:30 am. I wanted to leave at 12:00 pm so I opened up my Uber app. Guy picked me up in 3-min, clean car, super nice, and got me to Scandallo from my hotel in the Jardins area for are $18. Once there you have to go through security, frisk, and present an ID to enter. They give you the rates for entry and food / drink allotment. Honestly, I was so hungry I didn't even pay attention. Entered and went straight to the restaurant. Sat at the back with a seat up against the wall so I could see everyone passing by. The restaurant is between the disco area and the smoking deck so you see a lot of girls coming through the dining area. If nothing else, you know who is a smoker.
Within minutes there was a girl sitting to the table on the left and 2 on the table to my right. If you go alone you feel like there is a bit of target on your back. Next time I will likely try to meet up with her outside of Scandallo. We'll see.
Some will laugh at what I paid but I come down 2, maybe 3 times a year on a good year. I go to Scandallo because it is easy, safe, and everything is there. I don't have to mess around getting someone into my hotel, and I come back showered and feeling like a million bucks. Fun had by all and I will go back next time. Least Saturday I drove my customer to a tour, we sarted at the afternoon to Miruna and Enjoy, than we went to Brooklin, he went with Flavia and I went with Livia.
