Most long German words seem to be just sentences with the spaces taken out.

It seems to be different titles compounded with wordings without spacing in between. Although in English we put hyphens in between compound wording or there are spacing in between compound phrasings in those cases. Different, but how about this English word:

Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis (forty-five letters) is lung disease caused by the inhalation of silica or quartz dust.

Googled for longest English word, and above came up, which is a medical term, and usually they are strong together of some formulaic sections based in Latin (Med schools require Latin for students to easily familiarize with terminologies) to describe, and this one happens to be rather long. Haha.

I got one too and struggled to get it translated, thankfully I could scan, OCR it and run it through Google Translate. One tip if you have time to waste, make a copy and return it to them requesting that they send you the letter in English as you are entitled under EU law to request a version in your native language of any official correspondence.

Google actually managed that long word. I just happened to find it quite hilarious. Like that mountain range parading the letter with some symphony playing along.

My alternative take on this is that since germans were too weak fighters, it was the strong scandinavian people and their superior syntax system that won the battle of the british isles...

HIV is one thing but here are much more bad germs you can catch through uncovered sex that can be easily avoided by using a condom. Yes, most of these are easily treatable but they are all a bother and before you may be aware of it you have passed it along to others.

If you received a letter about problem when driving in Germany, very high over speed on autobahn for me, better you read it even written in German and You can write answer You don t understand German, that s European rights. Was controlled more than 2 years and half after being arrested, no alcohol, nor drug, nor accident, so I just paid the bill at this time, kiss and goodbye. I threw without reading letters I received in Paris, I couldn't understand. On control on November, fortunately I was stopped on a parking, but I got 3 Polizei cars, 2 normal cars, for nearly 3 hours, they took my French driving license, as I refused to pay because I paid on 8 April 2014, they wanted I gave them car key, I had to call a lawyer, they call Strasbourg police as they know them, I kept they car key, my lawyer asked them to give me back my driving license because French one and they didn't control me driving, they refused, saying I was not allowed to drive in Germany and I got a criminal complaint about keeping on driving. Of course I didn't know because I didn't read and answer. I asked them to write I don t understand German, Speyer central sent me back my license and we will see about complaint, my lawyer wrote I couldn't understand German and in European rights they have to be sure I understand what it is about.

So maybe better to read and answer than fighting with Polizei, Germany is sometimes not relaxing.

The stupidity of the British has been encouraged by the appalling politicians: in areas where the politicians give a good lead such as London, you will find the British to be enterprising and pleasant.

As for the respective intellectual requirements for repective languages there is a wealth of linguistic philosophy.

If I wanted to be provocative I could blame the French for the English language in its current form as it results from the forced introduction of French on the existing EngIsh after 1066 , or maybe I should blame all non native English speakers as, being a universal language, world english works down to the simplest level possible and has no poetry or intellectual finesse, unlike English English used properly (increasingly rare)

Or that english is a language for people who don't care about rules but want to achieve immediate goals at the expense of longterm goals. German is perhaps the opposite.

In conclusion, I can't think why the Germans would want the British. However you are still stuck with the French in the EU lol

My real fear is that Germany might follow Britain and become intoletant and narrowminded: this would mean the end of FKK :(
