The easiest way to have fun in gangnam (and maybe hongdae) would be to have a korean / Gyopo wingman (or wingmen. The more the better). Unfortunately there's a lot of fear / distrust / dislike for non-Koreans, so seeing you with Korean (s) usually makes you more approachable.

You shouldn't need a wingman in itaewon and you definitely don't need one on the hill and in Miari. For civillian girls and freebies YMMV.

However, I'll comment on my experiences of the 7 shop and generalize + give some tips.

According to the door guy at the 7 shop, they accept foreigners with no problem (but he could have been just saying that.) There are 2 door guys (I think) based on what time you go. Operations are from like 10am to 4am? Or something like that. However, the girls who actually come in don't really until mid afternoon. The door guys are pretty nice and discreet, they try to hide all the "managers" or "agasshis" as they like to call them and also all the clients. So, you won't see any one else besides the door guy and no one will see you either. Furthermore, the girls also don't really see each other.

Furthermore, according to the door guy, the 7 shop is one of the oldest in the area (Hongdae) , and also one of the most popular. (There's also one in gangnam, based on their card but I haven't been here). Also, when I say door guy, I mean the guy you interact with for everything; reservation, payment, etc etc.

[B]Prices:[/B] 40k won for 30 minutes. 70k won for 1 hour. If you decide to go 30 minutes, then decide later you want 30 more minutes, will be 80k. If you ask, you can also do 30minutes with one girl. 30 minutes with another girl, but I think it's just better to stick with the same girl. No negotiation on prices.

[B]Procedure[/B]: You call them; I don't know if I'm allowed to post links or phone numbers, so google "blog naver gyo1515" and it should be on the first page of the google search, the one with blog. Naver. It phone number is on the page, looks like a phone number, the only number there.

[B]*MAKE A RESERVATION* THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT[/B]. You call and make a reservation, it's important that you do. Yes, you can just walk on in but if you do you'll get whoever is free. The place itself has many variety of girls, so make a reservation, they'll ask what type you want and you tell them, they they'll give you a time you can come in (because the girls come in there).

[B]The Girls:[/B] They will range from 5-10. (Really). Bodies will range from 6-10. Attitudes will range from 6-10. Ages will range from 20-30. You want to ask for pretty and also one who has some boobs. Reasoning behind this is that most girls in Korea are skinny anyway so you want one with a pretty face and a chest. (You could end up with a pretty face no chest thats why you ask for it). But if you like skinny then to each their own. But saying pretty face is probably the most important.

[B]What happens[/B] Door man leads you to a bathroom, and you brush your teeth. Then you go into the room he directs you to. You sit down and wait. Could be a long wait, basically come at the hour or 30 minute marks. Otherwise you wait. You'll probably wait anyway. He eventually comes in, asks what kind of girl you want (if you didn't specify when you made reservation, they you'll get who they have) and then ask for how much time you want to do. You give him money and he tells you to wait. Could be 10-15 minutes. I've waited upwards to 1h30 minutes once for the "ace". The girl comes in and you greet her. She will sit down next to you. This is very important because I don't think many foreigners have been able to frequent kiss bangs and I don't think many come here. As for other kiss bangs, they offer different services / prices (prices are very similar) but they'll tell you for the most part. In general, what I have written is what you would expect. However, some places in Sinchon and Hongdae will not allow you to touch breasts and only allow kissing. Check beforehand.

However, even in 2004 I had luck getting my Nepali and Indian friends serviced in both 588 and Miari.

I assume that they're even more willing to accept foreigners now as they area is nowhere near as busy as it used to be back when I frequented it regularly in the early-mid 2000s.
