This tipping discussion has been ongoing for sometime. Best thing to do is just accept that today's average monger(especially asian) is spoiling the market. Expect more price rises and expect to see more spoiled girls in the MAJOR p4p scenes in SE Asia. Don't like it? Find another mongering destination! Prices/expectations aren't going to come down to 'good ol day' levels.

Hi Amjeck,

I agree with you.

However, I see these boards as a bit like any other consumer forum. Just like other consumer groups check products and often find that price has nothing to do with quality (perfumes for example), some people will still go out and buy the expensive product. Meh.

However, the reward in these forums is that someone who starts off as a monger, or is going to a new destination, can find out information that will save him time and money.

There will always be people who think that by paying twice as much for something they are getting a better product. (Spotlight dancers, perfume, soap powder). That will never change. However, forums like this enable a very swift learning curve for smart consumers so they can avoid the sharks. Those sharks will always catch the slow ones.

Oh, and when you know who overtips, you know who NOT to tell about cheaper destinations and attractive girls who give good service without tips. ;)

Personally for me, in Angeles, I've never had a woman afterwards ask that. I have seen the waitresses frown when I leave if I leave like 5-10 pesos on occasion.

a lot of guys take girls out of the bars on a regular basis. with few exceptions the unspoken motive seems to be to have the girl all to himself, at a cheaper rate than would be required in paying steady barfines. in most cases, the guy gets bored, the girl gets bored, in any event the girl returns to bar life. another exception is the guy who gives the girl a huge sum of money on a monthly basis, but if a tourist, chances are the girl is then freelancing or sleeping with her filipino boyfriend/girlfriend.

hardship plays a role in a girl entering the bar business. don't care if the girl has been in the bar one week or one year, there is a fundamental difference in a girl that enters the bar life, versus her peer who tuffs it out in the province. a girl who steps foot in the bar has mentally decided that she is going to sell her body to get what she wants. guys who meet that "new" girl in the bar, don't seem to understand that girl has already a mental bent, that may/will become a problem as the relationship develops.

of course if the guy tells her, he is going to pay for this, send her back to school, pay for her housing, etc, she accepts. simply because it is easier work, she only has to sleep with one guy, every couple of months at best. but guys who think they are getting the girl next door are very niave.

I think the amount varies from guy to guy, or perhaps from nationality to nationality.

I have had stunners want to stay with me for days. Not much more than trike fare and a nice farewell gift of some sort. Never had a problem with repeat business or with other ladies from the same bar not wanting to go with me.

And I am fat fifties and balding.

Having said that, if someone wants to pay more, good luck to them. But there if someone finds that they HAVE to pay those amounts to get a stunner or a repeat bf, then maybe they should look at something else. I rarely give over 300 pesos. Have had plenty of stunners, repeat business, girls blowing up my cell asking to come back. These girls do NOT go back talking money as much as you thing they do. Somewhat disagree. I'm cheap in the sense that I don't tip. I feed the girls before we go to the room, so that's a plus. But I only give p100 for taxi. Interestingly I don't have to barfine all that often, as I have a number of girls there who keep coming to my room after her shift and spending the night. All for the cost of the dinner/drinks that night or a breakfast in the morning. Gotta ask yourself: if some guys aren't tipping at all, why are there girls coming back?

I am guilty of taking a Cherry girl out of the bar and taking care of her for a few years for education. Right now she is in Dubai and has a nice job.
Yes, No girl can be trusted to be chaste which includes your wife in your absence. Yes, These girls have crossed the line between a normal girl and bargirl providing sex for money. They all come to AC to have a job and make money. Many do not go barfine and get disillussioned and go back home.
