Had very good satisfying experience overall with DIA girls this trip.

Thanks in advance.[/QUOTE]The problem with any phone in the Phils is that for her to respond she will have to have either a load on her phone (for both regular texting or for data) or she needs to go somewhere where there's free Wi-Fi (such as a mall) in order to use apps like Skype, FB, YM, WeChat, etc.
In the USA, Sprint offers an unlimited international texting plan for a flat rate of 10USD per month. Allows the USA user to send / receive unlimited international texts to over 100 countries as long as you are within the continental US. They do have agreements with Smart, Talk and' Text (part of Smart) , Globe, Sun and one or two other carriers in the Phils. But, as I said above, in order for your girl to respond she must have a load on her phone; normal PI text rates would apply for her. One glitch I found was one of my girls was using her mom's phone, a really cheap Nokia and you could not turn off the cellular data; unless she was using her TnT sim card or a Smart 24hour text only UNLI plan she would burn through a load very quickly (they kept taking 7 to 10php every 30 minutes). So she had to be very careful when she loaded her phone; no voice plan or the load would disappear in a few hours. I rectified that by getting her a better phone when I visited and she was very very grateful (insert big grin).
If your using Verizon, AT&T or another USA carrier you'd have to check with them, but make sure you ask about texting internationally to / from the USA and not an international plan for like when you are traveling outside of the USA or wish to call internationally (Sprints' calling rates are astronomical; something 2. 50USD per minute).
One of my girls mainly uses YM, which now allows users to text to any CP in the world for free; but she lives close to a place that has free Wi-Fi and she has it where she works too. A fringe benefit is that the messages are stored in their server and so you can access them either via your CP or PC. One drawback with YM that I've noticed is that sometimes the messages don't come through to my phone; this usually only happens when my phone is roaming or of course when it's turned off, but I do get the messages whenever I log onto YM.
As a side note, I'd be very careful about giving any girl your primary USA cell phone number. It's one more way to be found and also these girls also often let others use their phone, so you never know who will have access to it and consequently to your number.
