I have done some work on flirtcomua and here's my little report.

I have worked for about 2 weeks and reviewed about 360 profiles. Have to say I had a lot of surprises; possibly because it's my first try and I need to learn the tricks.

1st surprise, Adriana Lima is in Kiev and she is offering sex for money; and so are Monica Bellucci and Keeley Hazell. Holy shit.

2nd surprise, the astronomical ratio of profiles which get deleted right after having been posted. Out of the 350 profiles I had selected, about 50% were deleted within 24-48h. I would be curious to know how the moderators operate?

Now, the way I see it, profiles can be sorted into 3 categories:

A) explicit: p4p offer written in black and white and/or softcore pics, etc.

B) sponsoring: basically the same as above, but much less straightforward. I guess this is where the semi-pros are lurking.

C) freestyle: everything else

Now my 3rd surprise was regarding the response rates: 25%, 45% and 22% respectively. I expected the rates in (a) and (b) to be much, much higher. Although I am not too bothered with respect to explicit offers, as this is not my primary target. I don't like the way most girls in this category will handle your case. Just giving a phone number, a list of services and a price, and not taking the slightest pain to chit-chat. Okay, well, fuck off then.

I am much more concerned with the girls to sponsor (in the proper sense) I. E the semi-pros. 45% sounds really low to me. I might not be asking the right questions. Anyone to share his techniques?

Head down one of those roads away from the square towards the river. That branch of Bochka was the first in Kyiv I think, and it's cracking early evening. There are a few other places opened up right near there too, a good bar right next door, Kontraktova side.

They both do reasonable snacks/light food and great beer in Bochka!

Friendly crowd. And a lot of students tend to go in there after lessons on Thurs + Fri early evenings. Later in the evening the single girls go home and the place seems more full of attached girls or larger mixed groups where the chances of taking a girl from that group are very low.

Or you could walk down to the river and take a boat ride, or at least see if there's a decent number of unattached girls queuing for the next boat to depart. So much alcohol is consumed on those boats, the music is pumped out and with the right crowd it's a good laugh. Oliva, the Italian restaurant on podol's main drag is popular with girls. But you could say the same about hundreds of restaurants in Kyiv.

When I eventually stuck a photo up there the response rate was much higher for me. I cannot believe the success. Two girls outside my (and Bez's) normal age range both came straight out and invited me for a walk to a "special place" for them on the second letter. One is 30, the other 33. IMHO, the key to getting anywhere on mamba/flirt is getting your basic russian down. Showing that you're taking the time learn their language goes a lot further than a photo of you with your top off (not that I'm saying you have that Imsomniaque ;) )

Of course, that's a bit of hassle for those just looking to dip in/out of the kiev scene, but from my experience, the more effort you put in pre-trip in terms of research and language, the more you'll benefit when you hit the streets.

Don't be surprised that the pros don't want to chat and just get down to business. They are in this as a business. If you are contacting pro back home, you don't chit-chat, you discuss rates and arrange an appointment.

As for the "low response" rate, I would not call it that. I think it's pretty good. Consider also that if you are contacting them in English, they may simply not bother to respond because their language skills are weak (even if they claim differently - a pro exaggerating her attributes on the web? Never!). Plus they know you are a foreigner, thus unlikely to become a regular. Unless she can soak you for a premium price because you are a dumb foreigner, you are a low-yield prospective client. Western white god appeal is not what it used to be and many girls would rather have a local (i.e. long term) client or sponsor.

I think the 30+ crowd also remembers the hard times and maybe still views western guys more favourably. The younger girls (20-25) grew up as Moscow (and to a much lesser extent) Kiev were coming into their own as major capitals with all the big city attributes like flash night clubs and world class bling stores. They never longed for the west the way their older sisters did.

As for the language, yes, I intended to learn some Russian for my job anyway; I trust it will help. Although I am already using Google translate when the girls speak only Russian.

Nothing I can do about it, unfortunately.
