The area is packed with the big museum, various churches and statues, busy vibrant markets, and other things to sight-see, so it might be worth it to visit just for that if you're interested. I also read about how dangerous / crime-infested it's supposed to be, so I made sure I had my eyes open and spidey-sense up while I was walking around there.

I had the Uber drop me off in front of the museum (was around 4 pm or 5 pm) and walked around for a while, towards the direction of all the motels, which I had checked on Google Maps beforehand, and had seen in some walk-through videos on Youtube. There were definitely a lot of working chicas all over the area, including in front of the museum / churches. Many of them looked like sketchy crack hose. And there were some others that looked cleaner, but older and / or overweight. But there were a few I saw who looked attractive to me.

After doing a walk around a couple of blocks checking out the talent, I came back the way I came and spotted one of these attractive ones I saw earlier still standing around between a motel and a bus stop. I have been with quite a few Venezuelans in Colombia, maybe 1 out of 3 chicas I have sessioned with turn out to be Venes.
