I've never paid bareback in Medellin. I usually lay back and ask them to start in cowgirl with the condom visible. Either she grabs the condom or she jumps on me. We visited Medellin from October 30th to November 3rd. The immigration process was smooth, with no issues or extensive searches to report. The lines were long, however, so be sure to allow at least an hour for processing. Otherwise, we had no complaints.
I think we were lucky to have avoided rain interrupting our plans. It rained intermittently, but never enough to alter our activities. The weather was awesome and the environment was perfect for everything we wanted to do.
NewLife stands out from other similar establishments thanks to its wide range of options. Over two days, we explored several places in the area, but ended up choosing NewLife both times. For the bargain price, the service exceeded expectations—no complaints at all.
We were in Colombia for Halloween and thought it would be all about wild parties and packed streets. Turns out, the locals celebrate the whole weekend with different traditions and names, so Halloween night itself was surprisingly chill. It was mostly tourists out and about, which caught us off guard at first. Later, we found out that a lot of Colombians prefer spending Halloween evening with their families, so the local crowd is way smaller compared to other nights. Still, the girls and I had a blast exploring, dancing, and soaking up the festive vibes all weekend long!

Things are celebrated in family and not in public place. Best place on earth for holidays like halloween and christmass for vacacation is probably Pattaya.

Only has been at all due to influence of media and US tourists. The Day of the dead is the next day and may be more of a traditional thing, although not as much as in Mexico I think.
Halloween is an American thing, and more or less the same in Canada, but in other places in the world it is only even known about because of American influence.

Sunday was slim pickings with the B or C team.
Monday was a disaster as there were only 4 or 5 girls, bottom of the barrel. With 15 guys waiting. Learnt it was a National holiday: All Saints' Day.
Maybe the earlier robbery last month at this location has impacted the establishment.
Last time I waited 3 hours to get through immigration. Arrival was 2 pm or so. This time I decided to try early morning arrival mid-week. Big difference. There were 6 immigration agents working and it only took 10 minutes which is the shortest that I have ever encountered.
My guess is that early morning or late night would be best for shorter lines. The day of the week and holidays are also a consideration if you want shorter lines.

Went through Bogota last night and was worried as I had a tight connection. Until I saw absolutely no lines, for Colombianos or extranjenos.
Made it with a few minutes to spare to find my connection was also delayed but that's Colombia.
The absolute worst time in my experience during a shift change.

Very long story short: my ex was a crazy sex-addict, we had an open relationship. We were living in Philippines, and had our 'lifestyle' for 2 years while living in Thailand.
