I was suggested to go check out this place in another forum. I was pleasantly surprised by the service and cost. Thailand is insane!!

There are about 20 bars on the block. Nothing like Soi 6. Very low key bars.

I visited Bada Bing. Too many dudes sitting around for me so I left and ended up at Carre DAss. Definitely didn't disappoint and will return.

One thing I noticed about the girls is the amount of plastic surgery. Many girls have thinned noses, and some have puffy lips. And many have colored contacts lenses. I don't like the fakeness in appearance. But many girls work the scene too late in life and do all this to boost their looks (at least they think so). All this makes you think if there are post-op trannies out working and not telling guys of their condition. Wow!

If you like young and pristine and thin, you can find it in Thailand at the bars. If you want elite looking you are to pay 250-300 usd or more. Just check out massagerepublic to see the money they want. And Russian girls are that much or more.

1. Beach road. Lots of freelancers and few pretty and most ugly. All good choose and move on. Price range was like 1000-1500 and if you want kinky shit, that will be more.

2. TH is full of hoes and some are nice looking. I would recommend video chatting the ones you want because photos can lie.

3. some girls hang out on second road but I did not see any hotties. Many chubbies and / or older ones.

4. Wait until the bars close. Not all girls get customers and finish the night with little money in their pockets. If you are jet lagged, then 3/4 am is a perfect time to monger. Most go on the beach and hang out with their friends / BF / etc.

5. If you have time, you can pick up local girls. But most dudes don't have months on the ground so not use talking about it.

Then the era of the Chinese. Also not really bar customers, mostly tour groups.

Then Covid. The death of like half of the businesses in Pattaya.

Then Koreans. Great for the girls and some bars, but they inflated the prices for everyone else.

And now Indians. They want the bars but their behaviour, cheapness and personal hygiene make it a challenge for bar owners and girls.

Wonder what the next era will be.

Yesterday, I was sitting in a bar on Soi 6. It was around 8 pm Across the street was a bar with lots of pretty girls. One of them was holding up a sign that read: "Lady drinks only 195 baht. " Before, I thought the bar owners were just too stupid to realize they were ruining their business. Since yesterday, I've been thinking they were doing it on purpose.

Needless to say, the bar was empty.

Problem is members on this board have this perception that gogo bars are too expensive. Prices for gogo girls haven't changed since I started coming in 2015! Barfines and LD yes but not the amount a girl gets. Always been 3k/5k to the girl.

With thanks for the inputs I got for my queries, this is how my Pattaya trip went. I have included info about places I did not indulge in but only visited too. Since it was my first time in Pattaya I was open to trying everything. Did not have a fixed agenda and plan. Taking it as it comes.

Landing early AM in DMK, I had booked the bus to Pattaya and landed in the hotel for breakfast. I stayed at the Leela Resort and Spa, a 5 min walk from Soi 6. Slept through most of the day and headed to Soi 6 in the evening. Having been to Nana Plaza multiple times, Soi 6 felt strangely familiar. Chatted and played with the girls that tried to pull me in, but did not go into any bar. The asking seemed quite high to. With no bargain - 2000ST and 400 for room upstairs, this was before I got into the bar and had any drinks for me or her. So guessed net would be around 3-3. 5 K THB there.

After the travel wanted a more calm environment to release, so took a Grab bike to Soi Honey looking up the massage places. One girl in front of Paradise Massage caught my eye, and she called out to me. 1500 THB for everything with the curtains drawn upstairs, she was a cute late 20's girl with a bit of flesh in the right places.

Next day started at Red Point bar on Soi 6, it started raining and this place is closed and has plush interiors. However the girls are not pushy. No lady drinks to be bought, you call them if you want to else they let you have a beer in peace. Loved the place, but the girls were not to my liking. Sat with a beer and found a couple of cuties, but more chubby ones. 800 for BJ was the ask, headed to Soi Bong Koch. The newer strip of BJ bars. Passed by Bada Bing (not many girls early afternoon), Pirates (a few good ones), and a MILF in Amsterdam caught my eye. She smiled, and I walked to her. Spacious and near interiors, got a drink and chatted with her. Offered ST for 1500, but I told her I was only interested in BJ. Asked 1000 to cover the drink, room upstairs and BJ. Exactly right, they get treated. In the case of HIV, patients get evaluated quarterly and most take daily medications at home. HIV never disappears, but it gets so low that it cannot be detected by standard testing nor can it be transmitted through sex. If you go inside the Thai hospital on the quarterly HIV treatment day, there will be a lot of lady boys. There is a low female to male transmission efficiency for HIV with vaginal sex.

The success of HIV treatments is why I worry more about bacterial STDs. Those of us who do BB also need to get tested and appropriately treated. I do it before travel, plus a mid trip test, plus a test when I return home.

In 2014 I was paying them 1000 b.

In 2019 I was paying them 1500 b.

In the past 2 years I've been paying them 2000 b.

As for the rest of the package:

Lady drinks were on average around 140 b in 2014, now it's 190 b. 35% increase.

ST rooms were on average 300 b in 2014, now it's 400 b. 33% increase.

The only thing that went crazy up in price is the LT BF if you are taking the girl early (around 3 k now, used to be 1 k max) which is due to some customers (Koreans mostly) always taking the hot ones out before the bar even opens.

To me the only thing that offers a competitive bang for the buck are some gentlemen clubs if you don't mind the girls looking a bit uglier. Similar prices and a great experience as well.

Everywhere else in the rest of the world is either much more expensive, dangerous, limited selection, locals only, ugly, condom for everything or a combination of those things.

I'm seeing some debate on current prices.

How does walking road compare to soi 6 for example? Freelancers vs gogo bar?

Basically what are the averages? It seems that gogo bar is most expensive.

Finally took a walk down Soi 6. Really was killing time between dinner and heading to WS.

First noticeable thing was the amount of vloggers on Soi 6. All young Korean or Japanese guys. Some accepted by the girls and have the ability to walk right up to them. Others clearly not appreciative of the vlogger. If you're worried about being on the IG Tiktok YT etc DO NOT walk along Soi 6. FYI as always the cars that drive slowly down Soi 6 have cams too. These are the closet vloggers.

Prices? The girl who appealed to me the most walking by was a really petite Ariana Grande girl who worked at a Nightwish bar. Very hands on more so her on me than me on her. She didn't seem liking me with clothes on for some reason. My buddy picked a dud from the line up. 2 LD plus my non alcoholic drink was 590. Forgot to look at the breakdown. I'm guessing 130 for mine and 230 for LD? I also tipped my girl for her efforts. I didn't get BF price as I didn't want to encourage her more than her persistent pestering that she was going to rock my world upstairs. Once she got the hint I wasn't going upstairs she asked me to buy her 6 Tequila shots. That was my cue to leave.

For sh1ts and giggles I decided to go to a Honey 2 on 2nd Road after Soi 6. I was handed a price list or 5 or 6 tiers. I asked him if this was the Farang or local price list. Guy said only one price list which I knew was complete BS. Prices ranged from either 2900 or 3900 to 6600. The top 2 tiers sit behind you if you are looking at the main girl area. I knew within seconds I wasn't choosing anyone from the lower 4 tiers. I'm after top gogo girl quality only. I'm assuming the guy got the hint and dropped every tier pricing by 700 baht making the most expensive tier 5900. I bet I could have got more off as there were not many potential customers and a fair number of girls.

There was one single girl I would have taken. A girl I would have easily bought 3-6 LD for in a gogo if she were fun. However, for me to hand over 5900 baht (or less if I feel like negotiating) without knowing her personality other than her smile is tough for me to do. It was a nice smile though. I'm not a Soapie guy. I'm a gogo guy cause I get to spend time with the girls to assess their fun factor. Soapies are great for guys who have never tried it before but after a couple/few the routine becomes redundant and even annoying.

Great report BB. Experienced the increase in numbers on Soi 6 when I was there in March. There were gems to be found but you had to look long and hard. Agree also about the pesty vloggers. The soapies can be an experience but not my scene either. That said, I did try one in March in BKK and it was about 2000 Baht if I recall. Girl was very good and actually too good looking to be a soapie girl. Good experience but prefer the bar and gogo scene.

I have just got back from PP and can say that the bars there also have a lot of girls. Seems that the standard ask is three LD drinks before they leave the bar however the repeat does not require that. Cambo girls are not as hardened as the Thai bar girls and a lot more GF once they are comfortable with you. I will be back there early next year again. Keep well and happy hunting.

Soi 6: average price, the girls are pretty much the same as the ones in the gogo, but look worse because you are seeing them in natural light. Overall it's the best bang for the buck imo as long as you are able to choose the girl wisely. Nothing beats the convenience with the insane amount of girls in the same street, you can choose from the street. All with the advantage of having ST rooms above the bars. Not as intimate as a GC downstairs but you can have a little bit of play.

Gentlemen clubs (CGs): below average price, the girls are usually not good looking but you can find diamonds in the rough. Great bang for the buck as well, best option if you like to get frisky before confirming your choice. Downside is that you can't really see the girls unless you go in, the girls rarely hang in the street. Also almost all GCs have rooms which is convenient.

Gogos: higher prices, the girls will look amazing but it's mostly due to good production and a coloured light that will hide imperfections. Very few would have a room so you'll need to take them to your hotel or get a nearby room.

Thaifriendly (TF): cheapest option as you don't have to pay BF / drinks / room. BUT it's a lot of hit and miss, and in many cases you will lose precious hours of your trip waiting for a girl that is hours late (and sometimes will ghost you and not show up). Better for retired expats who have plenty of spare time and don't mind the occasional time waster.

Other bars scattered around town (not soi6): reasonable selection, but not all in one place. Prices might be a bit lower than Soi6. There are a few clusters with interesting options such as Soi 7, Soi Buakhao and Soi Chaiyapoon, but can't really compare to the sheer numbers of Soi6. Also, very few open front bars outside Soi6 will have ST rooms.

Personally, I like having a taste of what I am barfining before making my final decision. A few minutes with the girl in a "touchy" environment and I will know if she is worth the BF, this is why GCs and Soi6 are my preferred choices.

Soi 6: not all place have room upstairs, but there is ST hotel near, the girls know them, just ask. Lots of bar have girls who aren't going upstairs or who can be very selective. A girls not interested to go upstair isn't going to refuse your drink. So its better to be specific ASAP. Some place have girls very cute who seem to be there only to pull you inside the bar, they go back outside instantly. I has lots of bad experience in place managed by falang, the nightwish group bar are very pushy on alcohol, and chilling. I never had a 'no' from girls who work in bar who arent in NWG, there was rumour about minimum drink before going upstairs but I can't confirm. The girls are very cute but if you plan to go upstair its better to ask before beginning to pay for LD. My problem with Soi 6 is that I know what it was like there 15 years ago. You only had to go to one bar and you were successful. The girls didn't want anything to drink and didn't even ask for it. ST 700 + room 300. Now Soi 6 is a tourist circus that's almost exclusively about overpriced LDs.

But if you were there for the first time in 2023, I can understand you. Have fun.

Hideaway, on the corner of Bomerang and Soi 15 has about the best burghers in town. For cheap. The girls in Heaven Above are all very hands on. You can get a bad night when the KFC afficionados are working and a majority will be very overweight.

LK is always fun and doesn't seem as mercenary as Walking Street. A nice mix if strip clubs, usually younger women and very hands-on. Worth a couple of passes. Soi Buakhao also has a bunch with some good music and live bands. Soi Dianna is mostly gogos, but many open air bars closeby. Prices are higher in gogos with BFs ranging from 700 - 1500 depending on the girl and especially higher if she's part of a show that the gogo puts on. ST is 2000-2500. Girls prefer ST because the extra 500 or 1000 if not worth it to them for LT and another pump in the am they'd rather leave and go back to the bar to find another customer, or go out with friends / Thai BF, etc.

Soi 6 is still cheap for taking a girl upstairs in the bar for ST.

The older westerners moved to [B]Bouakhao[/B] and the more edgy bars beyond (Bong Koch, Khao Talo etc.). Even Bouakhao is a lot more transactional than before. There are still some wild party bars, but mostly older / fatter woman. [b]Jomtien[/b] has more preserved its old-style beach town vibe.

[B]ThaiFriendly[/B] is 99% hardcore hookers now, the kind you find on beach road at night. As bad as the other online platforms.

[B]Prices have increased by 50%[/B] from a few years back, especially bar fines and high end. The low end is still below 2 k for the night, but most cute young girls will start at 5 k.

My favorite food places are Hungry Hippo and Cheap Charlie's on Soi Buakhow, and Das Berliner on Soi 13 for great German Food and Hideaway on the corner of Soi Boomerang and Soi 15 (about the best hamburgers in Thailand.

There's a old saying "Your Mileage May Vary" when I was in Phuket no more than 2000 BHT and at the lowest 1500 Bath. I ran into a chick from Cote d'voire on Sanbagla Road. I can only imagine it might be slightly higher in Pattaya because more tourists are going there vs Phuket. You have been before so you know what to expect. There are no secret spots that people are harboring for themselves. You see somewhere you may like and you walk in and ask prices right off. If you do not like it or can not negotiate to where you want then you walk out and go to another spot. There is no need to wait in a place 2 hours before finding out prices. There are literally thousands of spots. And there is something for everybody, so nobody can tell you what will be for you, just because it is what they like. In my experience, it depends on so many different factors. Your age, time of day / night, how you look / smell / dress / carry yourself, location, your attitude, your race, high / low season.. Even the weather.

With a range in price, I get a better idea in my head of what is reasonable and what may be perceived as the girl clocking me as an easy mark. My aim is to stay inline with market prices. I did 1st visit to thailand last spring. If you have the time, I would recommend 10 days to 2 weeks and visit both pattaya and Bangkok. They both offer different opportunities and I enjoyed both. Easy and cheap travel between both. Bangkok is big city. I stayed between nana and cowboy so easy walk to both and to travel on BTS. Pattaya is beach town. And for me beach not beautiful to swim, is nice to walk and check out vendors and beach girls. I found pattaya a bit cheaper and easier to get around. I did Pattaya 1st and when I return I will spend most time in Pattaya. You will have fun, experiance all you can.

I have had to walk to the parking lot with the driver before though, but that was many years ago. Something I noticed while waiting the other day is that a SIM package was attached to the back of one of the sheets on the name tree. Superrich is probably the best exchange house on the planet for Thai / USD exchange but different branches will have different rates. SIA Money Exchange also has very good rates. You can also get surprisingly good exchange rates at many of the small money exchange kiosks in Pattaya (just walk around and compare rates). The spread between the buy and sell from these exchange houses is some of the smallest in the world for any currency.

I've now almost completed 3 trips to Thailand for almost 1 month each this year. March, July and November (3 days left), and feel like I have enough to bring some inputs here on when to go.

Soi 6 had the best quality in March and July. Now in November, especially late November and early December, more and more of the top girls leave with some interim paying boyfriend.

I found the free version useless, a total waste of time, it is not that much (I think around 100 usd for 12 months) but you would have to check.

Sadly enough in my 3 weeks in Pattaya I was sick from food poisoning for 10 days (Aeromas bacteria) so I was a little weak. It's been months many people have been saying the girls don't want to go lower than their 2 K rate but for some reasons some others were saying they get their girls there for 1000 baht. You will learn how the go-go bars on Walking Street operate.

Had a great time in November and earlier this year in pattaya but I agree on this one, the nightwish bars all seem to have that rule now where you need to buy a certain number of ld's before you can take a girl upstairs.

The st price itself didn't really bother me, around 2 k felt fair for the girls I picked, but I get why some of the guys I hang with are annoyed when they can pull similar quality much cheaper via gc or tf guess it's just the new reality there, the drinks rule is the annoying part if you just want to bang.

In Bangkok it seems to be 2.5 K to 3 K ST, that's just in my experience.

Some places I frequented last time that I recommend:

Soi Boomerang: Heaven Above had a lot of hot girls. Octopussy had a couple of hot girls.

Soi Honey: I really like the Hunny Lounge, tell Graham that Oz sent you. Go to Lips Lounge and you will get you dick sucked for a ladydrink.

LK Metro: I like LK Angels a lot more than Kink. Mint is usually slow, but the owner is a nice guy so it is at least a nice place to chill.

Soi Bongkot 5: Babylon is a fairly wild place.

Install Line on your phone now. I am in Line groups for Hunny Lounge, Babylon, Camel Toe & Free Willy, as well as the monthly bar promo group.

Go on some of the bar crawls particularly when you first arrive.

I prefer the slower pace away from Walking Street and Soi 6 and prefer to get a hotel or guest house near Soi Diana / Soi Buakhao. For starters you aren't even going to Pattaya but to Bangkok. The better option would have been "General Reports" or "Thailand Lounge and Chat".

I'm assuming you've never been to Thailand before. Thailand is the easiest country in the world to pretty much get any medication, especially sex related meds. Just walk into a pharmacy and buy it. No doctor visit or script required. I don't know anyone who's ever been pulled aside entering Thailand for carrying prescribed medication in quantities for personal use.

Phuket was easy to find the real massage parlors to the massage parlors with extra (either the pattern of the girls dressing or the setup. It was easy) as most of the massage parlors were around the Bangla road. It was a bit difficult to find them in Pattaya. Walking street is a mess with mostly occupied by Indian Clubs and targeting desi's to get into those clubs. I am not into clubs and did not like the entire atmosphere of the walking street.

Massage Parlors / Go Go Bars: It was kinda tough as finding the massage parlors wasn't easy, since Pattaya is spread across LK Metro and Soi-6 places. Most of the places had "go go bars" and as usually Indians are not welcome here, no girls tries to pull in the Indians (we were not in groups, just 3 of us), so expecting a better service in any of these places was a dream, hence didn't get into any of them.

Soapy Massages. With all the reviews, I zeroed in on visiting Honey 1, Honey 3 and PP Soapy Massage. I found one good in Honey-1. The prices were high but it's a good experience. The lady rushed through the service. But she was good, it's the same regular pattern. Shower - soapy massage on the mattress - deed - shower cleanup. Cost me around - 3300 for the counter with 200+100 for LD and tip.
