I know the place is named Chicago but do they really have to be cliche with it by playing the tommy sub machine gun outside? It does sound cartoony but if this is your first time in the area and you turn on the corner of the main street where Hong Kong, Adelita, and Tropical is, it's kind of sketchy cause of the instability of the region. Went in and this place is still basically dead. Has the blue light set up in the whole club. Doesn't look like they upgraded anything. Only about a dozen girls working in there and about 6 patrons. Guess the waiters were happy to see 4 asian guys walk in so like 3 of them ushered us to sit and asked what we wanted to drink. Honestly I just took another glance around and stood up and headed towards the exit. As we were leaving they kept calling us to come back. You can skip this too not much to see. Only reason we swung by is to show 2 of the new guys that were with us the whole area and what this street had to offer.

Stopped by Chicago during the afternoon and the place was pretty dead. About 6 regular average plain chicas, 2 patrons and an empty club. Left after a few minutes to finish checking out Zona Norte.

Went in Chicago with a new bro Friday night around 10 PM.

Chicago has remodeled with a 2 new raised strip platforms, new stage lightings and all new plush furniture. Sound equipment also seemed clearer and cleaner than before. There were roughly 12 girls in house, sitting at the 2 bars and gathering near the banos, a few young spinners among them. There were 3 groups of young Mexicans sitting in booths, partying with their chicas.

We sat through 2 strippers, fairly attractive chicas comparing to the recent HK's chubbies, but no one was tipping them. The dozen meseros brought over 4 rounds of chicas, about mid 30's, smiling, attractive, sexy-looking who may do well for the bros who prefer more seasoned girls with charms and personality over the clueless ones.

Chicago no longer hands out 1-free beer coupon. They have only a few beer brands, serving XX, Sol, Tecate for $3. Chicago feels quieter and more relaxed for those who want to slow down and have meaningful conversations with their chicas, but without dark nooks and crannies to hide from the dozen hovering meseros, it just felt awkward to kiss and grope the chicas.

It has good potentials. Will check back to find the occasional fresh, pretty girls who still offer that loving feelings in bed.

Baxter Slade and I took full advantage of this on both occasions. But you are right, once in the club, drink our free Sol or XX, not much going on. But this is the afternoon though!

Was in La Zona Saturday night. Walking that corner and has Cotele de camaron at the school girls central. There was no one handing out any coupon at that corner. Does not look smart to hand out free-beer coupons in the day time when Chicago has no chicas working, and no coupons at night when there are hundred guys walking around.

Will come back occasionally to check on the talents.

One note about Chicago. There is chica in there with the worst ass implants ever. Like most of the other periphery clubs, maybe one or two ficha material gals. But not HK. Or heck, even the alley behind HK.

I received Chicago Club free drink coupons each on Tuesday afternoon, Friday afternoon and Sunday afternoon from a mesero handing them out like candy on the La Gloria corner. Consider your sources for genuine information vs. slanted perceptions.

The mariscos guy gave me a Chicago's free beer coupon a few weeks back. I gave it to my wingman, expecting Chicago would still be handing out coupons at least for a few more months to ramp up their new business.

Saturday night after eating the camaron coctele, the mariscos guys said no more Chicago coupon. The wingman and I went into Chicago. I asked the meseros about coupons, they said no more coupons. The wingman claimed the coupon I gave him and got a free beer. I paid $3 plus $1 tip for a SOL. No big deal. Chicago serves only a few local beers, XX, SOL, TECATE ect. Which I find too watery for my taste. I prefer BOHEMIA, which is a good, medium-body Mexican beer, with good taste and aroma, as good as any foreign brands. Needless to say, I would rather be in HK to ogle hotter girls and drink my prefer brands.

Looks like Chicago still hands out free-beer coupons, probably during the day time, not at night. For the dimwitted toads trying to puff themselves up by nitpicking on a little detail, well, the other bros are smart and fun. They can see through the nit picking, puffing toads. Hehehe.

The coupon the gentleman was handing out at the La Gloria corner on Sunday afternoon was different. It was promoting: "NEXT Friday! Sexy Lingerie Show" It contained a new female model but most of the same other images and phrases, such as "One Drink Free! Presenting your flyer". So this newest coupon might only be good on a Friday this month.

While HK serves all kinds of premium imported beers, Chicago only serves local brands, XX, SOL, TECATE. I am not an expert in the puta bar business, but looks like Chicago does not have enough cash or credit, so distributors of premium brands won't sell them.

Having little business, Chicago must have severe cash flow problems, paying operating expenses, rent, utilities, taxes and wages for those girls to sit on their asses all night waiting for generous guys who never come.

I remember back in 2000, Chicago had the best talents in Tijuana, was crowded on weekends, while Hong Kong was a small, seedy bar with old, lumpy strippers dancing on the counter top. There were 2 nice, sweet, beautiful sisters from Sinaloa. Many rainy nights, I would sit at the bar past 10 waiting for them to show up.

One of my favoritas was Maria, sexy, pretty and fun spinner. She would knock down Tequila shots so fast I had to stop buying. She went to work in HK then disappeared.

There was a timid young girl sitting by herself every night, waiting for johns to sell fichas and her company, no sex, but nobody bought her any. A wingman, with zero Spanish, was trying to make her into a GF for free sex. He bought her a few fichas, exchanged tels, tried to set up dates outside the bar, but she never showed up. She made no money in the bar most night and could not afford the ride home. So one late night he gave her a long taxi ride home, through many dark and deserted streets, to a bad neighborhood, way way out on the East side of Tijuana. She let him hug and kiss her in front of the tiny home she lived in with her parents and half dozen siblings. She was trying to hide her disappointment that this guy gave her no money for her time and company, but was trying to take advantage of her.

That's typical of the joblessness, poverty and hard life facing young girls growing up in Mexico.

The Rumor I heard about why Chicago Club lost its business was that years ago, a tranny or two got in the club and some of the local Mexican men found themselves getting BJs from "women" who were actually men. Don't know how long it took for the locals to discover the truth about these "women" but the shot hit the fan after word spread that some of the Chicago club chicas were actually men. Don't know if this rumor is true, but it would explain the sudden decrease in business. Mexican men will not tolerate finding out that they are buying drinks or dating camouflaged men in women's clothing, not women, IMO.

Anyone know if this Rumor is true?
