Apologies for the delay in this report. This happened at the end of Jan. I was worried about the floods but hotel staff repeatedly advised there was no probs at the hotel. Firstly, I would like to again thank the kind member who gave me personal advice before my trip. I arrived in town at about 8pm. My main mistake was the situation of my hotel. For some reason, I thought that staying central (near Medan Merdeka or 'Monas') meant being near Blok M. I soon realised this mistake whilst talking to the hotel guys who picked me up from the airport. I was nearly 10pm by the time I reached the hotel (new Amaris Juanda hotel which was excellent at 400k / night). Soon I was in a taxi headed for Blok M. Needless to say, even with moderate traffic it still took 45 mins. The cost was about 35k (the hotel staff said it should be about 50k). Anyway, Blok M was nothing like I imagined. For some reason, I thought it would be all really modern bars a la Singapore. Anyway, got to the main Road (forget the name) andf quickly saw familiar bar names. Headed to Top Gun. Was amazed how busy it was on a Tues night. Lots of girls and expats and the band was loud. I was a bit shocked by the price of beer (38k) after being in Philippines for a while! I found it quite a difficult place in general to get girls' attention due the way they all sit in groups. I sat down at a table at the quiet end. Soon, a lady from the opp site of the room started making gestures and soon enough she and one of her friends were sat with me. Can't remember any names. Seemed friendly enoough but neither were really my type. I had noticed that another girl they were with had these incredible looking tits and her dress showed them off. After suggestions from me, they got her over to me. As usual, they were all from Bandung and been there for a few months. All spoke decent english. I soon struck up a deal for ST for 400k I think. The originall girl had asked for a drink and then wanted commission for arranging this and got quite aggressive. I ended up giving her the 12k change I got from the bar but she wasn't happy. I didn't waste time and soon we were in a taxi. I stupidly forgot advice about using Bluebird taxis (the hotels recommended 'Express' I generally found to be better). The first taxi guy said 'no meter. 100k'. I told him where to go. Then a meter taxi took us. On the way, I was concerned that the meter was running up really fast and sure enough the trip cost 56k! I mentioned I wasn't happy and agreed to pay. Now, I speciifically checked to make sure I gave him a 100k note. He took it and after a minute of rustling around, he retorted at what I had given him, showing me a 10k note and suggested I gave him that. I protested to no avail and ended up giving him another 100k note and got the change. Convinced I had been swindled, I mentioned this to the girl later but she just said 'I don't know'. Later after checking I realised I was a 100k short, so beware! After this I always simultaneously handed cash over whilst taking the correct change and insisting on Bluebird or Express.

Back at the hotel, the girl turned out to be a whinging dud. She had been way too quiet during car journey. Turned out she was early 20's and had a kid. Had a decent body and tits were big. Didn; t like her tits being sucked though! Only saving grace was she was fully shaven. Got reluctant about photos later. She had issues with giving oral although she had agreed at the bar. Sex was ok. She left well before the 2 hr arrangement. Didn't bother going back. Next day after sightseeing in Kota / Sunda Kelapa (where I saw some flooding as it had rained a bit night before) , I decided to check out some daytime action at lunch time. Agreed that taxi would take me to Malioboro. Traffic was crazy and it took an hour. Arrived at the hotel and wasn't really sure what to expect but thought it was a bar. Anyway, spoke to reception but due to language difficulties I think I got the wrong end of the stick. They kept saying 'band starts after 7pm'. I asked to go to the bar and they suggested I could go but would have to pay over 100k to do this! I was soon in another taxi and very annoyed. Decided to go to Melawai as my personal advisor had suggested this was the other good daytime action. Needless to say this was in Blok M, so another hour or so car ride. I think there must also have been a misunderstanding the the member who advised me as I had made it clear that I need to take girls back to my room and any other venue is not an option. I also expected freelancers so you can imagine my surprise to find that the bar at the hotel is effectively just a brothel. It was about 2pm and lot of women. Some very hot. It was awkward sitting there with a drink and them all sitting across from you, not saying a word. One came over for a chat and I soon realised that none of the girls would go to my hotel unless it was the end of there shift. Even if they did, it would be more than the 500k / hr they charge for action on site. This was pushing my budget anyway. I also then realised that there was no action of the type that I require anywhere in Jakarta during the daytime. Disappointingly, I returned to my hotel with the intention of returning the to Blok M bars when they opened at 5pm (according to local intel). It turned out that even if Top Gun opened at 5pm (the others didn't until 7pm) there was no action till 8/9pm. I noticed an older lady (said her name was Anne and was in her 60's!) who I had seen in Top Gun the night before, sitting outside the bar. She remembered me too. We chatted and said she was from Sumatra originally. Spoke good english and said she was waiting for an english male friend to play pool with. Said she was a champ. Even offered to call me a girl for a crazy price. I was so desperate I even contemplated taking her! I dropped that bait by lying and saying I paid 350k for the girl night before. Over the next hour, I went into a couple of the sports bars that were open but no action. I ended up sitting outside at a table provided by a shop selling cold drinks etc nearby. Anne's 'friend' never showed but she was not interested in my offer. I figured if I can't get her then what chance do I have? Disillusioned I headed back to the hotel again.

Having spent a ridiculous amount of time and money trying to find a specific restaurant in Cikini with an idiot taxi driver, I arrived at Blok M later than I expected. I tried D's place but walked out when I found out they had no cold water. I went to a small looking place called Highway to heaven, I think. Some nice options in the bar downstairs wooing an old Aussie guy. Didn't manage to strike up conversation with any of them. Went upstairs to a surprisingly large dance area. Very few options up there. Saw girl from night before in there but she just ignored me. Went to Top Gun again and same difficulty getting girls' attention. Decided to wait outside to grab a girl as they walked between bars. Was midnight by now. Stood on opp side from Top Gun. Saw a few options but even then couldn't get their attention as usually in pairs or groups. Forgot to mention I had followed one petite hottie out of Highway but she looked at me like I was an alien when I called out to her just outside and ran into Top Gun. Anyway, I was just about to head off having accepted I was not going to get anymore action, when this short, slightly plump dark girl walked out of D's place on her own. She approached me and soon the deal was done. Think I got her as low as 300k but can't remember. Took care getting a taxi this time. One thing that irritated me there was that all taxis insisted you pay their 'parking fee' separate to the fare. I think this is absolutely ridiculous and one of the many annoying things about this godforsaken city. She was really talkative on way back although her english wasn't great. Said she was from single mum from Bandung etc and only arrived 3 days before! Her greenness was a bit of an issue but not a big deal. At the hotel, her body wasn't great but made up for this with enthusiasm. Tits were surprisingly nice. Was happy to try DFK (prev girl refused). Refused to shave although her lips weren't that hairy. DATY was fine but didn't liked her arse played with. Sex was decent. Called it a night. Having previously planned to have at least 4 girls that day, the end result was a damp squib in comparison.

As I was leaving in the afternoon next day, no chance of any further action at all. Needless to say neither girl would allow anal sex. In summary, Jakarts is surprisingly comparatively overpriced when it comes to ladies, but I was aware of this before my arrival. Along with the numerous little irritations and annoyances, I can't see why anyone would go out of their way to come here for mongering, unless it was impossible to get Indo girls cheaper elsewhere. I do like Indo girls but that is not enough to counter all the cons that Jakarta puts up. Really disappointed with the outcome of my trip. Whilst the hotel selection didn't help, I don't think staying in Blok M would have helped with daytime action.

WTF are you doing man? You are going from one extreme direction to the other extreme.

I think you need more info on location in jakarta before heading out.

From sunda kelapa, the closest location would be alexis and k7, instead of malio.

And from malio to blok m where there are many other action nearby?

What restaurant are you looking for in cikini?

FYI for the parking / tol it is not covered in taxi fee. Parking usually about 2000-4000 rupiah.

What time did you go to malio? The spa open at 1 pm and the bar usually empty at day.

I think the staff at malio actually trying to be helpful, they want to tell you that there no one in the bar at the time.

And the 100k is the facilities charge for using the spa.

Also there is no pick up bar that open during the day that can take out call.

It seem that you did not have the right info regarding jakarta, hence the bad experience

I've been living in Jakarta for few months, I got a job offer in Manila with better money, can anyone tell what is the major differences between the two cities? Cost of living, girls quality and attitude? I'm in my mid 30s and will be after semi pros and freebies.

However, Jakarta has a much bigger and in my opinion better scene for p4p and there are definitely freebies available (although not to the extent of anywhere in the Phillipines) but then again I'm still in my early 20s.

I was interested to read the responses about my report. It does annoy me when people say to read the forum, as some people do not have the time to read every single report going back months and years. I did as much research as possible and relied on the advice of one experienced member. As I stated in my report, any venue for action other than my hote room is not an option, which removes all daytime opportunities in Jakarta. The only reason I tried the places I did was due to a misunderstanding with my adviser. I thank you for explaining the situation at Malioboro and I apologise if my summary has offended anyone here. However, it is just my own opinion, to which I am entitled and do stand by. I will not be visiting this forum again, so if anyone wishes to PM me to discuss this further then feel free.

I go to Jakarta for mongering even though Thailand and Africa is closer and Philippines and Africa is cheaper (I have been to all 3 heaps of times with many reports, under a different I D which I had to abandon for privacy). Anyway, the point is, I do not agree with your above assessment.
