Vaccines are a tool, a shortcut, lives can be saved in the process. We can choose to use it, abide by Occam's razor and side with the most likely explanation. Or we can continue to look for zebras.

Either way, COVID will pass and the next pandemic will come at some point. For now, what we learn from this experience is of most importance.
