On the other hand some of it may be the truth: I live with my GF for about a year now, of course I pay for everything (but for me alone will cost about the same), she doesn't need no money from me, because she has few businesses going on, one of them is a pig farm where she has employees. By living together I know everything that's going on in her live, and sometimes the pigs start dying, and she spends a fortune on veterinarians and medication, price of feeds fluctuates, usually upwards, her mom had a medical emergency, and she had to pay close to 100 k total, two months ago the taifun flooded her parents house etc, so some emergencies are real, and I have no idea at all how the regular people with no resources are dealing with them. But one thing is clear this happened before our arrival and will continue to happen and get solved, with or without us getting involved.

Sure, they have to endure less than ideal living situations, and you do feel sorrow for different circumstances when it comes to typhoons, and the rest.

Yes, best not answer sometimes. I had a message from a contact today who hassled me saying "Why you not speak to me no more!

I could have replied saying, "Because you aways ask me for money and you were probably one of the worst Filipinas I've been with".

But it's best to just let go and move on by not replying.

I've always made it very clear that I'm not going to assist child that's not mine and it's the father's responsibility to assist (knowing quite well he's most probably still on the scene and sending the girl 'out to work'.

Filipinas are crafty little things, but you have to stand your ground.

A lot of newcomers may do their balls over a girl, which is understandable, but it's always 'buyer beware' when it comes to The Phils.

A way I have seen suggested to find high quality non pro,"good" girls is to go to church. I recently read a FB thread that suggested just that and the guy reported good success.

I am not sure how good an idea that is. I recently went to the christening of a friends baby. It was held at a local cathedral just after Mass on a Sunday AM. The cathedral was full, I roughly estimated that there was about 1,000 people attending Mass. I was not at the Mass, but was just outside as the mass ended and the congregation exited.

Yes these were all types, all ages just a cross section of the general population, much like you would see on any street or in any mall.

BUT I did not see one girl of the age range we are interested in who would rate more than a 5. Not a one that anyone here would give a second look at. Compare this to a mall when 10 or 20 or more of a random 1,000 people passing by are girls that we would be interested in.

Planning a trip to the the philippines have a few questions: If birth control at least historically was basically never used, and women in their early 20's have a 20-30% chance of getting pregnant each cycle. Wouldn't these girls all tend to end up pregnant after around 4-5 months? Maybe that is just what always happened I dunno but I found that strange. Is it all just a cycle of pregnancies til they get kinda too old for the job at I dunno mid-late 20's?

I know of several ex working girls who met Mr Gullible and found it near impossible to start a family. For obvious reasons they never went to a doc to find the true cause of her infertility.

Earnings are 'how long is a piece of string'. Many struggle to find a single barfine by the end of the month. Others are so busy that they need to triage customers. Add sponsors, online simps etc. Income? You're wildest guess plus a lot.

It's all fun and games on the surface but not so attractive if you look a little deeper.

But if you're asking about the income, for long term hiring considerations, I can tell you that I used to pay them 2 k / day plus expenses, up to 2 weeks, or 20 k / month plus expenses for over 2 weeks periods.

For the occasional BF I still pay whatever it is, because it's a one time purchase of something that I really want in that moment, and I take it as an personal treat, that I deserve from time to time.

So I spoke to the usual couple in one of the cheap eateries I hang out in. He told me he was suspended for five days from work for seeing his OFW BF off at Manila Airport. I said I had only seen him, every day with his lady friend. He swore he was gay and theirs was only a platonic affair. After saying I had no interest in either of them, we all headed to the door. Lately last few years or so girls are cracking down on the condom thing. Last two trips barfined 6 new girls only one after much convincing in the room and some alcohol would agree. But, as a sex sociologist, I like gathering data. So as she put her arm around my waist and whispered another plea at us taking the conversation elsewhere, I softly asked "how much do you want for short time? She replied, "how much will you give?

Again, I had zero interest in taking this boner-killing woman. I lied when offered her P1,000. But she inadvertently let me off the hook when she said that was much too low and countered with P10,000!

That ended my cat and mouse game, so I just upped and left the mall.

The reason I bring this up is I'm having a difficult time understanding why these two women with seemingly nothing to offer a foreigner were asking for sky-high stratospheric compensation for an encounter that I'm sure she would derive more carnal pleasure than me.

I'm going to chalk it up to the typical Filipino underclass attitude that all foreigners are insanely rich, have unlimited funds to toss around, and are expected to give it away to anyone for any reason given. Any guy who has to deal with his wife's / girlfriend's family will agree that they have zero concept of basic economics. That's why I now live in this country as a single man, as it's cheaper to rent the cow than it is to buy one.

You say 1 k pesos, she counters back at 10 k pesos, then you say 3-5 k pesos and she agrees. If she countered at 3-5 k pesos, your counter would be 2 k. So she has potential to get more when she counters at a higher price. If you don't counter at all, she saves her time for another potential client.

As for a wife / partner's family attitude towards foreigners, both of my ladies have set precedent with their family of not allowing that kind of behavior. They may occasionally ask them, then she will ask me, but it generally comes out of their own money, not directly out of mine. They understand that, even if their siblings are hungry, giving everything away to them just leaves everyone hungry then, including themselves. It's sad, but it's the truth.

You can't really blame them.

But yes, it comes down to economics.

I tell all my girls that if I was to finance them all, I'd be broke and I'll only tip them when I'm in their company, and it's performance based in my mind.

The great thing about the Phils is, you can play the game, decide who's a 'keeper' and reward them accordingly.

Try that at home and it would cost you a fortune and if finally you get lucky, it would probably be a dud root anyway.
