Yeah, the back of the VIP card (at least the one I have now) lists all the benefits available. Also, the website for HK now lists them out under VIP services. I am new however, so this all may be added information since you purchased yours. Also, keep in mind that the card does expire every 4 or so months, so your savings last only a certain amount of time.

There is a sign on HK's front door stating VIPs benefits, others by asking the CS rep. VIP card $50 good for 4 months:

Free pick up and return at border or $5 taxi refund if limo / van not available, or.

Free parking at Pepe's, worth $15 to $20 over night.

Free drink of your choice every 12 hours, any beer, juice, tequila, cognac, whiskey, vodka or mixed drinks.

Free use of VIP lounge on HK's 2nd floor. Guys usually take a girl and buy her a bucket so they won't be disturbed.

Free entry all night with no hassle to buy cover beer and min or no security pat down.

80% room discount on Monday and Tuesday at Cascada.

20% room discount on all other nights.

30 VIP minutes in ST rooms instead of the standard 20 minutes with street girls.

If you can think of other perks befitting VIPs, please suggest them to management.

Lots of new girls from big cities like Monterrey and Mexico City will quote their standard $100, but they know there are plenty other fish in the HK sea and will usually go with your target rather than losing a session. So do what locals do and stick to "1 mil pesos con propina para servicio bueno" and give her 200 -400 pesos more if she's a honey and her service is good. (That's $55 with $11 to 22 tip at current exchange). If the girls lose a few sessions, they will learn not to be so stuck up and adjust their rates.

I agree nobody should give money to beggars, which would just create more beggars. If I see hungry children around the taco carts, I would buy them tacos, not giving them money so their parents can buy meth.

Hong Kong is amazing, but def check out the periphery. The other bars can be quite fun too. A little cheaper, maybe tier 2 or 3 chicas. But fun for a break from HK!

Anyone can print the coupons off HK website, and get most of the same discounts without actually staying there. I have been doing that forever, and never stayed at Cascadas once. I guess the only thing you really save is $18 room fee, but then you're limited to HK chicas.

For me personally. While I don't mind fucking girls at Cascadas. I find staying there kind of gross. I much prefer Centro hotels, like Ticuan or Ceasar's. Short 10 minutes from the Zone, but a world apart from the noise, cops, drunken mongers and the street bums. Also way better food options than Azul and street taco carts.

Point being. Don't limit yourself to the Zona and HK / Cascadas on your next trip. There is way way more than Tijuana has to offer! Great reports otherwise.

Yeah, I fully intend to explore the rest of the bars in the area next time out. I hear we have a federal holiday coming up, who's down? Haha. HK / Cascadas is a convenient one stop shop if you're in and out, or just relatively new to the area. Also makes it easier to write long reports when you have less to remember XD. I'll be sure to share the wealth next time when I spread my wings!

Sorry, the VIP card is great. I did not believe in the benefits, but now I take full advantage, tremendous savings since I usually go every 10 days.

All the drinks / food / lapdance discounts can be had without any "VIP cards". Just print the coupons off their website, and you're good to go.

As to the Cascadas hotel itself. Some may like the convenience, but spending the night at a place that rents the rooms by 30 minutes isn't my thing. I find it sort of gross. And their room rates aren't all that great. There are many nicer places to stay for less money. I enjoy partying in HK and the Zona, but then it's nice to get the f out of there. And enjoy a nice quiet night of rest in a hotel that doesn't cater to the hookers.

I see beggars in Tijuana but I do not feel like subsidizing their booze or drug habits with cash. If you want to help the beggars, carry some oatmeal bars or loose candy from Halloween candy bags or Ramen / dry soup packets, which you can get in 99 cent stores before you go to Tijuana. When beggars ask me for money, I usually give them something that actually helps them like a oatmeal bar that they can eat on the spot. If you drive to Tijuana, keep a box of oatmeal bars or ramen handy and hand out some from the window when they corner you at a stoplight or in a traffic jam. I usually go through couple of dollars worth of snack handouts during a day's visit to Tijuana which makes the locals happy since American candy and food usually tastes better than the Mexican version.
