well, if I pay 1,350 or 1,500 pesos for LT does not really matter to me. Even if some guys might disagree because the relative increase is about 11%, it is IMHO still a great deal, isn't it!? And the 3,000 pesos are only related to showgirls, or am I mistaken?

I think it all depends on the lady at the bar.
I've seen several dancers jump for joy as a "negro" walked in the bar and were jumping all over him to get him to LD and BF. Hell, they never gave me that response when I walked in.
Also, many of the ladies I talked to prefer koreans as they are big spenders and again tried to get them to be BF.
So really depends as I suspect that a few may not go with koreans or negros but alot of others would from what I've seen.

Take Golden Nile and GN executive club, which has some of the best looking women in Angeles. It seams like every girl there is a spotlight girl, so I am often paying 2,500.

I agree. PI is probably the only place in SE Asia where they are happy to go with any race. Also, it seems like filipinas are happy to give away free fucks to young good looking guys.

Perimeter road bars still run between 1200 and 1400. I think the BM is speaking of a few bars on Fields that held the line on 1300 peso bf's until this past October they raised their prices to 1500. Most bars on Fields were at 1500 or more, recent increases were at La Pasha group bars and Gecko's. There may still be some left on Fields at lower prices. Suggest increases reflect the increased salary costs for girls, where not long ago a dancer was paid 130 to 165 per day, most bars have had to increase their pay to 200 p and up. That's an increase of at least 21% if we are into ratio's.

Yup, the increases are expected as time goes by. Even my beer at happy hours have gone up at some bars. And 3000p is still thankfully confine to spotlight /showgirls.
I think most of us are really forgetting one major hidden increase cost of doing business in AC-- the US-PI exchange rate as it has taken a nose dive lately and if you spend enough here or stay long enough, the exchange rate will kill you at this moment.

Apples. For some reason you could not get fresh apples in the PI in 1984-86. I bought some at the commissary while on temp duty. Had a few bar girls visit in the afternoon and took a couple of apples instead of tip. Wasn't supposed to give them to the locals (black market item) but nobody seemed too concerned.
