Whats "LD"???
you sound like me. it does not take all day and a bunch of money (lds and shit) to find some pussy. hell you are going to have to pay for the pussy anyway so why throw away all the extra? as far as starting early at the bars that is why i didn't like ac and manila. if you are not drinking, fucking, eating, sleeping, or walking in the mall then there is nothing else to do. no activities whatsoever. i have no idea about other parts of pi. but in pattaya and bkk there is tons to do outside of monger related activities. a female friend of ours actually came to pi with us when we left hong kong. she didn't do any research on the place beforehand. the same day that we arrived she realized there wasn't a damn thing to do and she was on the next thing smoking to thailand.
when you guys say "ld" what are you talking about?
thanks for bringing me up to speed.

yep
This is typical of any spoiled girl. The girls get more spoiled every year. Deal with it and spend more money or find another place to monger.
Amjeck makes a good point. We are slowly spoiling the girls with tips and LD's.
On a similar note, I ran into gents around the lunch hour at Kokomo's who had never heard of this site (or any similar). I ran into such gents on several different afternoons. They were telling me rotten stories of the girls running or underperforming. Some of the girl's behavior was the gents fault. One gent had been in town almost a month, had a bunch of runners, and no girl had stayed past 6am yet. He was assuming this is the norm, although he was unhappy with it. Another gent assumed AC was a ST place, every girl had left him within a few hours (one girl each night for 5 nights). We are creating a monster here by not complaining to the bar? To each his own opinion on this.

Great tips! I particularly like the one about not sitting alone at the table instead sit down at the dance stage. I'll keep that in mind.
Our approach is different. I'm not looking to have 'fun' in AC bars when I'm alone. Its different when I'm with friends. We chat, drink, watch the eye candy. We hit several bars and a restraunt in the evening. But we wait till the evening is done for us (about 11-12midnight) to finally go find poon. Once we are done and looking for poon, its a quick item for me. 5-10 minutes in almost any bar will do the trick for me. I shy away from LD's because they are just gravy money for the bar.
When I'm alone, having fun in the bars is farthest from my mind. I just want to find a girl for the evening. Just like at the end of the evening with my friends, probably I can find a girl by hitting 1 or 2 bars. I'm not the kind to start at 9am and hit 8 bars, get drunk, chat 8 different girls, buy LD's, party in the bar. Going out about 11pm and being back in my hotel by 11:30 is not unusual. I'm with Sharka, I walk into a bar (ie, Body Shop) and walk the length of it (or in this case, the 'circle' of it), taking in the girls. If I don't see a bunch that I fancy, just walk down a door or two (normally in any given bar I'm happy with half or more of the talent). If I do see some, I sit, order the drink, and call the mama or oldest waitress over. Tell her my needs, then let her point some out and call them over. Conversation:
me: hi hun whats your name?
girl: rosa. kumasta?
me: fine hun. would you like to possibly barfine with me tonight?
girl: yes (if no, or if she hesitates: thank her and send her back to dance)
me: me too. can you do for me x, y, z tonight and stay till 10am tomorrow?
girl: yes (if other, send her back to dance)
me: go get dressed hun
(NOW buy mama a drink -- she has done her job)
Not very romantic, is it? Jesus dont sit at a table by yourself, you are a target for waitress wanting a LD. Sit at the dance stage, closest to the girls. Dont bother with the mama if you can avoid it, talk directly to the girls. If she says NO to going with you, she will be glad to point out another girl for you to chat with.
There is a notion (that's all it is) that the pinay must feel 'comfortable' before she leaves the bar with a man. That is true. And it is untrue. Some girls must feel this way. Others don't give a flying hiney about that. She just needs the next wallet -- I mean gentleman -- who walks in the door. Even the first set of girls, who normally need to feel 'comfortable' before leaving, will from time to time ignore this need, as her rent is due. If you are one of those gents that thinks the girl sitting with you must feel comfortable with you, then you probably will buy her a LD (or 3) before bothering to ask if she's interested in barfining.
I am nearing the end of my fifth (and possibly last) trip to Angeles City. Just some observations about recent developments...
- Despite all that talk about "crackdowns" last month, life on Fields has not changed. Some people reported that each bar is only allowed one door girl. That's absurd. Bars are still employing an army of door girls.
- The taxi ride from the airport has increased to P500. This is bullshit and a way to gouge tourists. Even P300, the old rate, was too expensive. I wouldn't be as pissed if I hadn't found out about the hike until after I entered the taxi. The driver showed me a chart and it indeed showed the increase.
- If I knew about the taxi fare hike, I would have taken the new shuttle service instead for P30. There is a kiosk that sells tickets in the arrival area. I heard it goes from the airport to SM Mall, which then requires a 10 minute walk or a short trike ride to Fields.
- The modernization of the Clark airport appears almost complete! I saw two aerobridges ready for operation. This means, in the near future, passengers don't have to exit the plane by walking down a ramp onto the tarmac (and possibly getting rained on).
- There is heavy police presense everywhere. I think the massacre of Hong Kong tourists in Manila two months ago has gotten the PNP to be more serious about tourist security.
- There is no recession in the bar business. It's getting hard finding a place to sit since they're so packed. But that can be a good thing. You can walk in, walk through the bar and check out the girls before deciding if you wanna sit down and buy a drink. If no girl interests you, you can leave and nobody would notice.
- Despite most bars being absolutely filled with patrons, the number of girls still far outnumbers the patrons.
- Most bars have become flooded with Korean guys. If you walk into a large or medium sized bar, you'll see almost all Asian faces. Like it or not, these guys are getting the youngest and hottest girls. Some on this forum have said that the girls aren't driven by money as much as their desire to find a husband and a ticket out of the Philippines. That is hogwash. It is about money. I assure you Korean guys aren't in Angeles City to bring a bride back to Korea, and they're still getting all the action in Angeles.
- The bar and restaurant workers of Angeles City has become downright rude. Go to Kokomoz and the waitress will not greet you, will not ask if everything is OK and will not thank you for coming (unless you leave a massive tip). The same for Margarita Station. The same with most bars. The only friendly people are the door girls.
The reason this will likely be my final trip is, I find this country to be absolutely depressing. I know people here are in it for the money. But Filipinos take the art of money grubbing to new heights. The deeper I understand their national culture, the more I despise it. I should have tried Pattaya during this trip to Asia.
We are creating a monster here by not complaining to the bar? To each his own opinion on this.
I've complained to a bar(honey pot) about this before and they didn't do anything about it.
Unfortunatley, you can't 'unspoil' women. AC is being flooded by asian mongers who are notorious for ruining prices. This has occurred in most all the good spots in SE Asia already. The only way to enjoy iAC now is to accept it for the way it is and pay the higher prices. Times have changed. Thanks god it's still affordable! Wait another 5 years and prices/service could very well be outrageous.

westcoast don't mess around good for him. we all have our ways to deal with things so what one does is not wrong to any other way. however westcoast reminded me of a day in the phils a long way back 1988 the 1st time i ever visited this fine city. back then i was young and could fuck like every other hr without much effort( uh the good ol days right fellas). anyway one night after getting drunk off my ass again i found myself without a fuck buddy for the night. i walked in a bar called maverick city( remember it fellas). walked up to the stage looked over the girls saw one i liked pointed to her and paid the bar fine . 3 minutes later we are in a trike going back to my room at the clarkton and up to the room and 5 minutes later we were going at it like 2 jack rabbits. sleep for a few hrs and wake up at 5 am fuck again and off to work i went. gave her trike fare and i never saw her ever again since that was my last day in ac before going back to korea where i was stationed . i frankly do not even know her name nor do i think i even asked lol just a story thought you all like

Liquor prices
Ok, so I hate hotel room mini bars, both in terms of price and selection. Are there any decent liquor stores in AC, or should I bring a few bottles in my luggage?

I sometimes give 50p (not sure if this is too little but I figure it will be about the same amount she gets from the LD after the bar takes their share)-let me know what you think?
And if I really like the mama or had good previous experience before then give 100p- but this should be the max in my opinion.
And don't forget to offer dancer you just BF a nice meal at Jollibee as they like that kind of treatment.

Never walked the entire SM Mall so unsure if one exist in there.

I even ask my hotel and they didn't know either
Perhaps someone here can fill me in on that?
Arrival at Clark: I took it and it was good even with luggage as unlike a regular jeepney, this had AC.
2) No police presence at all when I was there (as I said 2 weeks ago), just the usual 2 cops standing at the entrance of Fields.
3)Bars were not all that packed so walking in and walking out of some of the bars got me noticed
4)Yes, Koreans were out in force and almost always had a hot number hand in hand (somes 2) but they are willing to pay the big bucks for them.
Yes, I too believe they are spoiling the market for the rest of us and in a few years, AC may no longer be a cheap destination for mongering-hope I'm wrong though.
5)Been to Pattaya recently and bad attitudes and runners are there also. The famous slogan of Thailand LOS=land of smiles is just that, a slogan

i don't think people care enough in ac to complain but i always do my part and go back to confront the issue. sure, it may not get the results i wanted but as least i vented out the truth and also always tell them we belong to an online community and always report to others the bad behavior to spread the word--tell them its facebook , tweeters or something(but please don't tell them it is isg--as they will search here for all our answers and then formulate tricks around that).
i may not be the most loved person at that bar for complaining but i don't care as i am already peeved and won't let them get away with it.

Well, I think 7eleven has a fair selection. Shampoo, condoms, chocolate and of course different sorts of spirits! :) And IMHO prices are ok!
Cheers!
