Thank you Max and others that replied. I had no trouble in Germany several years ago, but did not know if the situation had changed due to recent security issues. And thanks for the reminder about calling the card company about travel plans and writing down a list of 800 numbers. Sometimes I forget about that when travelling much shorter distances and have my card put on hold until I call them.

Maybe one day the USA card issuers will switch to the European chip standard instead of the mag strip, so everything is compatible everywhere.

As an experienced first timer, I think it would be important to note the distinction between Hessen and NRW clubs, generally.

Many clubs, especially around FRA, allow girls to approach the men to ask if they are interested, much like the US stripper club 'want to dances'. The difference here is that the girl may initiate some intimate touching. But once you take her into the theater (kino) or allow her to begin sucking your cock, you are assumed to be obligated to take her to the room (zimmer). I think mistakes are made by every one, newbie or not.

In any case, fucking a beautiful 21 year old for 50 Euros, an amount that does not even cover dinner for two in most places in Europe, can never be a mistake.

To that guy's question - you will get a robe or a towel. Unless you choose to walk around butt naked, I assume no one will stop you. I have seen plenty of men walking around naked or sun bathing nude in the outer gardens in the summer, but inside the club they mostly wear a towel. I actually do not mind walking around stark naked in the club area, if every one did so, but that is not the case unfortunately.

I ran into a guy who was on one of these fkk tours. He had rented a car, and was simply sleeping in his car for a few hours. Generally, it is pretty safe around those places, so he was not afraid of getting mugged etc. Also, this was summer, so he won't freeze in the car. He was in the club till 4 AM anyway, on most days. I'd rather do my driving at night when there's little traffic than be stuck somewhere with rush hour traffic. On my next trip I've found several hotels close to the clubs I want to visit for 25 euro's a night. But I do like to be flexible, I don't want to be locked into a hotel if I find a certain club has many girls that I need to see again. Or its raining nonstop up north but the sun is shinning in Frankfurt. So I'll book multiple hotels for single nights and cancel them depending on my location.

Or the question about the towels and guys being naked. What really gets me though are the guys who ask the questions to save themselves money but can't support the forum with a measly $20. I've helped many newbies who had the pm function, I hardly go out of my way if I've got to post everything on the board. Before my first trip to Thailand I pm'd half a dozen people, got help from the few that replied. Another great research tool is youtube and google, spend time well before your trip to find out about where your going and then ask specific questions that have a better chance of getting answered.

I think that's the central point Mr. Breadman is trying to make. It's already here and elsewhere in other places on the internet that Breadman mentioned like YouTube and Google (and many more). Therefore, there is no "reduction" in the value of information here by not answering newbie inquiries that have already been addressed ad nauseam. It's all here and there and everywhere! So as Breadman said, a newbie will stand a better chance of having somebody respond to their questions if, by the very nature of their questions themselves, the veterans can see that they've already been doing some homework. Otherwise, the seasoned vets are not likely to respond.

Or if a kind, tolerant, and patient soul does choose to respond, then perhaps he might choose to spare everybody else from hearing the same old stuff again by sending the newbie a helpful PM. I think this is where Breadman is coming from, and generally speaking I agree with it. The problem is that there is a lot of info here, and it can be difficult to weed through it all. But still, it can be done. My suggestion to any newbie is to go to the the Reports of Distinction thread for any destination they are interested in, and start reading / skimming from approximately one year back. Then once you've done that, if you still have questions, then at least you will be able to ask informed questions that seasoned vets are more likely to respond to. And then go on that trip and give back to the forum with your own trip reports! That's how to become a valued member of the forum. Oh, and posting nice pics when you have them always helps! Monger on!

Pm's work both ways, its mainly guys sending ME a pm and asking a question to which I respond. You might recall how that used to work until you disabled your pm function. I won't bother to find your quote but it was something like "I don't like to be bothered by all these private messages by people asking me questions so I don't accept them anymore'. Is that close enough or should I go find your post? I've got no problem at all when someone sends me a private message, it works both ways. But you wouldn't know that.
