First, great report!

I guess that for me the issue of eye contact is just eye-contact and not some sort of fake smiles and whatnot. If eye-contact is made then it could lead to a smile and a beckon. If the girl is just looking at herself in the mirror I tend to see her as being self-absorbed. Obviously this wasn't the case in this instance but she also was looking in your direction now and then and I saw at least one toothy grin.

There's other places in Thong Lor that caters to the rich Japanese that you can check out,too. ( mostly rip offs in my opinion)

My experience is that it takes work, and a load of cash to get some of these girls because places like the Resort have a strict policy that prohibits the girls from "going" with customers, but I know it happens. Also keep in mind that these places have a lot of regular rich Thai customers, so do expect them to roll out the red carpet for you like a go-go bar would.

I certainly don't. But I suspect a well-rounded life, with good sex and a loving family may be the best of both worlds.

Further, what others think of the author; the goodwill, respect, bonding, friendship that is involved amongst a number of them.

I have not met them, nor stayed at LL. I have had my Scotch at Annie's (she mixes strong ones! ) and paid for it, too. Giotto, Nic Frenchy, Mouse 1, 1 Ball, Piper, Big, Dreams seem like good people! Further, I don't think they have anything personal against you. And none of them is canvassing, advertising, or soliciting people in ways you claim. They don't need to! They have enough money and comforts. Do you think Nic Frenchy or Big will succumb to a free beer? Have a heart, dammit. These guys have been helpful to others, offered info and guidance to those taking their first step into this phase of life. I think for some reason you are being vindictive; the reason you would know perhaps! I don't think you have met them; hence stealing your girl, spoiling your chances, bad mouthing aren't involved.

When you write derogatory, insinuating, malicious posts against guys who are appreciated by many, you are receiving bad vibes, reports, and bad karma.

Great dancers need to check out how they look in the mirror to improve their style. Also helps with balance when trying exotic moves.

Its not very clever to totally misrepresent someone by claiming they have done so many things and telling them not to.

Whilst we all appreciate the motives behind it (attempting to smear someones name by accusing them whether directly or not of many things) its really not a clever thing to do.

These forums are here for the help of people to monger.

They are not best served by those who attempt to sell or market their products and services, or those who accept "in kind" from their proprietors for name dropping all the time.

There are two establishments who utilise the method of "in kind" payment, or getting friends to post and name drop as much as possible, and this is LL and Annies.

Both of which are overpriced compared to other places, and both of which rely heavily on lazy first time USA visitors by making up a "fantasy" of appearing to be safe and good and helpful to first time visitors, more so than anywhere else, the ultimate safe place for first timers.

Now whilst its a good marketing trick to do this, its also in the interest of first time to Thailand mongers to tell them not to beleive the hype. These places whilst ok are not wonderful and for what you get they are not cheap, there is better value.

This is an opinion, mine and many others.

Now if you do not agree with it, then ignore it.

However as can be seen by reading the thread many people move onto personal comments and making up malicious posts and claims of things I have said. This is their only line of defence.

But why are they so "worried" about defending places which they claim they are nothing to do with.

There in lies the crux.

Keep all talk of Annies on the Annies thread, and all talk and namedropping of LL over at the LL thread and I am sure people like me would not feel the need to remind people that some people on here are posting to "market" some establishments.
