I haven't always seen eye-to-eye with your philosophy about Filipinas or Filipino life F B A but I have to agree with you on your comments about meeting places and times.

Geography is not taught as a subject in schools here and so the population has great difficulty in orientating themselves in terms of space-time relationships. They find it difficult to place themselves in terms of where they are.

Conversation on cp with girl who is already 20 mins late for a meeting in SM Megamall:
Me: Where are you?
Her: I'm here now.
Me: Where is here?
Her: By the escalator
Me: Ummmmmm. Which escalator? There are many.
Her: The one in SM Department Store
Me: But which one? Which floor are you on?
Her: Ladies wear
Me: so which floor is that?
Her: Don't know
Me: But I said we would meet outside Jolibees on Ground Floor

Me: I told you yesterday. It is next to the Main Door leading to EDSA. You came in that door.

I eventually met her and it turned out OK (for a couple of hours).
She was not the sharpest knife in the drawer so I will not be trying to meet her again LOL.

Here is a jaded view, lets talk about almost any normal American, Australian or European girl, after a month or two of f..king them, is there anything really of interest they have to say. Rather have a Filipina girl who's vocabulary is limited to "you want boom boom now", "oh, you so big", to just about anything one of those educated western women have to say. Stimulating conversation and brains in the bedroom, sorry I will pass.

Think we also have to categorize their intelligence. They may not know anything about world politics, or even how to give street directions. But they have a lot of street smarts, as I see them negotiate sponsorship with many educated foreigners. A lot of guys sending money to their favorite Filipina in the province and in the bars, so they can sleep with other men.

Leading up to Christmas and New Year's day, tourist season increases. Expect higher numbers of tourists beginning from October through April. Many of the girls hang around through New Year's day, due to the increase in tourists and needing Christmas money for home. The first two weeks of January slow down considerably as the tourists go home, many of the girls also head for the provinces. There will be plenty of girls though, those staying in Angeles, plus less tourists during the first couple of weeks. Most of the girls are back around the first of February and the tourists filter back in also.

This has been true from the beginning of time. There are plenty of versions of the myth, found in the legends and stories of every civilization. It is in the bible for Christ sake in the story of “Samson and Delilah" Book of Judges. It was a favorite subject for Balzac, the great French writer and Jean Renoir’s film “La Bête humaine” or “Judas Was a Woman” is another classic on the subject. And in America an entire genre of films sprang up "Film Noir" to work the subject.

Oh, I am not disagreeing with you in the main - or even trying to analyse (let alone over analyse).

I suppose I am making the observation that you can perhaps read some of the posts on various boards by punters, and come to the same conclusion about some punters not being that clever. You know, the ones that fall in love (don't, it sticks to your face), or those that send money so their honey ko doesn't work (ho ho ho), or those that overpay for no reason. Stupidity comes in many guises, and sometimes those that think they are the smartest get the biggest shake down.

I don't speak a lot of tagalog, but I do understand when I hear them chatting and saying things like 'ng balena ko' or 'ng ATM ko' splattered throughout the conversation. (my whale or my ATM).

So I am just observing that some of them think we are dumb as dogsh*t punters who are whales and ATMs, just the same as some people here think of them as dumb as dogsh*t ho's.

Having said that, I suspect that a lot of them play the part a bit. After all, it is hardly in her interest to show it IF a girl is smarter than her ATM. Surely her best strategy is to let her whale think he is the smart one. Just for fun every now and then when I am bored with bonking (after a week or so it gets that way, and I am sure expats get to the ho hum stage after a year or so), I ask a waitress to pick out the smartest girl in the bar so I can buy her a drink. I have had some very pleasant surprises. Which leads me to think that sometimes some of them just dumb themselves down to a bit dumber than they think their ATM is.

And when you are next time in the Philippines I want a test for a prove!. What shall I do? I think it would not be a great idea to meet her again because it might be slightly risky? Any advice is highly appreciated.

First of all if you do meet her make sure its no where near her crazy family, as they will all be in line for a piece of you.
If she was working in the bar you can ad your name to a long list of other potential fathers.
However there are paternity tests available and I seem to recall a service in Angeles or Manila that used a USA based lab.
If you are indeed the father....step up to the plate.
