Interesting to see the discussion about girlfriendly hotels in SP, as I was wondering about it. The only difference now is that instead of an entrance fee of 190R$ (including 4 drinks) it's now 150R$ (including nothing).

Can someone recomend a flat or hotel that is not dirty and not roach infested in the bela vista, liberdade, consolacao area. I had my focus on a flat on the santo amaro area but I found out from someone currently staying there that it is dirty and roach infested.

I decided to stop off in Sao Paulo for a couple of days before heading on to Rio. I don´t visit this city that often, but when I do I usually spend at least one night at Eu e Elas .... a nice little casa not too far from the downtown. I arrived there around 5PM and noticed that the place had been remodeled a bit. A lot of the erotic painting had been taken down and the "sala aberta" was closed up. I didn´t enquire as to why this might be simply because I didn´t really care all that much. I must admit that I was disappointed to find that they had converted the former adult cinema into another locker area (bummer). I guess life goes on ....
