Imagine paying 13.900 KES (171 USD) for a Business room, then finding out it doesn't even include the most basic & essential of amenities: a fridge. Ridiculous!

I will book at the Fairview - if they ever get around to responding to my emails. I like the good hotels and the price is ok.
From your suggestions on pickup places - I can't wait to go EVERYWHERE. Personally I loathe shopping, but if most of the ladies in the malls are available I might get to like shopping.
Any suggestions as what to see and do in Nairobi other than ladies and safari?

Casablanca Night Club just around the corner.
N.O.A. is absolutely GF, the security guys can even arrange for a nice girl or two, in case that you do not want to move from your place. Apartments are modern & very comfortable - a lot of space compared to a hotel room.
Flat TV, internet, kitchen etc, everything inside. However, no food / breakfast on offer. Rates are far lower than the Fairview Hotel.

If you can wait to go EVERYWHERE, go straight to Simmers (daytime or nighttime) or to Madhouse (nighttime). Success guaranteed.
Never pay more than 3000 KES for a allnighter!

In the supermarkt in Nairobi are the prices for black or white persons the same .It is sport to pay best lowest prices ....not for the highest prices.
In the streets of mombasa working joung girls in the street during night (streetclainers, dirthy work) ) for 250kes/night.
Well, if you get tired of Nairobi, why not head for the coast? Rain or no rain. I enjoy Mombasa, Watamu etc. If you are an Italian speaker even Malindi might do. I'll be on the coast in 3 weeks time myself again. Ask guys like LustyHombre etc for a few pointers there. Girls are much nicer in my opinion. People more friendly as a rule.

Is there a decent breakfast nearby?

The security guys open the gate (nice guys, by the way), you & your girl / girls go inside and that's it.
Nobody cares about you. It's your apartment. You can do what you want.
If you do not want to move your a., security guys wll be pleased to arrange a girl for you. Just ask them.
I paid about 100 USD per night (August 2009) if I remember well (for one of their best apartments, located on the highest floor).
However, many stairs to climb (no lift) and the water pressure not the best at the highest floor, so next time I would prefer apartment located on the lower floors.
All apartments are very comfortable.
All in all, a perfect place for mongering.
Just contact them by e-mail, they will give you full info on current rates, aoartments etc.

Regarding breakfast: on my first day I did some some shopping at the Nakumatt Junction Supermarket. Everything available there, nice selection of foods, wine etc.
There is a kitchen in the apartments, fully eguipped with everything you need, so you can prepare your breakfast by yourself.
It was fun to prepare and take breakfast together with the girl in the morning and then to jump back into bed for the next session.
Distance to city center (Simers and others): 15 minutes by taxi, 400-600 KES
I don't know if this place still exists, did request a quote on their studios for my next stay in September both by e-mail and on their web site. No reply until today. Quite different with Chester House, which replied on the spot and answered my other questions a few hours later. Even though I would prefer NOA I guess I stay with my booking for Chester House.
BTW, anyone ever stayed at the Klub House? Heard that they not only have a bar/restaurant but also guest rooms. Ok for Mazungas like me?
