His employer?!? That's just stupid to give out. If one must give out calling cards outside professional meetings get some personal ones made that are just one's "name" (incomplete or fake is better) and one's mobile number. Key to doing this successfully is to compartmentalize, using separate and toss-away email address(es), mobile number(s), etc. I'm not a FB user, but if I were it would be a separate account and I'd make certain photos I use are low res and are not used elsewhere.

The girls can't help noticing that all my other friends are single ladies in their 20's. If I am "courting" a new girl I don't give her a Facebook page because nothing positive can result from them viewing it. All of the girls that are on my friends list are girls that understand I am 100 percent single. Most importantly all of my info is very vague in case a girl wants to disrupt your work or family life.

I notice one way a girl marks her territory is to tag you in one of her pictures, even if you have never met her in person. All your friends see the tag and many get jealous.

I suggest that the only way to set up a genuine fake FB page is one with a fake picture of yourself (or no photo at all).

If you set up a fake FB but with your own photo on it you will run the risk of your real friends (including your wife or wife's friends) in your real life seeing it. That link on FB that shows "Maybe you know these people" seems to be quite random but it is linked to contacts you may have looked at or even to your ISP and there is always the real risk that it will pop up unexpectedly on someone's site who will recognise you.

Some don't think it is a big deal to lie about their age on the dating sites. They will usually put true facts on their FB because they have hundreds of friends that are linked to her account (including family) also if she has a boyfriend he will most likely have his picture on there or at least some comment.

FYI I normally keep a funny picture or sports team as my profile and then a picture off myself buried in a photo album. So it is hard to spot you but the girls don't think you are being deceptive by not having at least one picture.

Now this new award, well the second time around. Now I have been to some really awful African airports in my time but these are designated 3rd world, while Manila tries to claim it is 'international' and wants to attract an ever increasing number of tourists.

Maybe those who are alledged to have dipped their hands on the pork can help improve NAIA which was fast and quick last time I was there (as was around 6am). Just how it should be so we don't spend too long there LOL.

Stock up on bismuth or stay home for the next 2 months because the Christmas countdown began mid September (100 days before the big event, I believe). The artificial Christmas trees are on display at the hardware stores. The parols are on sale beside the roads. I know Cash & Carry is still trying clear the shelves of the enormous Edam cheese balls from Christmas past.

I agree some Indian airports are bad, Africa worse. Try Djibouti. Now that is something else. But none have the combination that Manila can have on a bad day of total uselessness. Admittedly my last (recent) experience was very pleasant (read "amazed") as I arrived early morning, no queues, bags off first, no need to brave the toilets and no queue for taxi. Almost felt like Singapore, HK, KL etc but then the road system, pollution etc knocked me back to reality.

However there are always other sights to take our minds off that and that is why we keep returning despite the airport LOL.
