A few red flags:

When she spoke on her cell, she did not speak in Russian, though it didn't sound like Arabic either.

She claimed to be an Arabic Christian from Lebanon (w/ a Russian/Eastern European sounding accent), who is here from Lebanon for 3 months (has been here for 1). Her mother is sick in the hospital, and she wants to open up a beauty parlor someday. This is all fine and dandy, everyone has a story with varying degrees of truth, but I am guessing this is a similar story to those told throughout Dubai elsewhere.

It was her Birthday (of course) and she wanted an extra tip as present, upfront. She got a call during the ride to my hotel from her "sister" in which she mentioned my hotel name, while saying that her sister was calling from Lebanon to wish her a Happy Birthday.

The evening was very rushed, she did not want to shower, and her "roommate" was suddenly calling her from the front of the hotel for a room key to her place. She became offended when I said this was very unusual, and almost became indignant when she said she promised LT, and of course she'd follow through.

She left her number and claimed that she wouldn't have given it to me if she did not plan on returning (I can't provide it as I destroyed the paper it was written on)

She left my room about 30 minutes ago with a fair amount more than the avg reported going rate here for CIS companionship, I do not expect her back, could have fought over the "deal" but figured it would be better to cut losses and call it a night. Lesson learned, I don't see myself returning to the 'snake anytime soon. But if any of you venture there and run into her, approach with caution.

Just returned from 4 days in Dubai. Stayed at the Sheraton Deira and am happy to report that the hotel is very GF. Was'nt sure what to expect since it was Ramadan, so based on reports I read here, I went to Ku Bu at the Radisson the first night (within walking distance) and was happy to find a pretty decent crowd for a Wednesday night, mostly CIS, a smattering of PRC's, a couple of African girls and a interestingly enough, a few girls from Kazistan. So I call up and get told that there is a “special rate” of 300 per hour – which made me wonder what the normal rate is going to be – and get directions to a nearby landmark. Reach the landmark and get guided in from there.

Although the building has all the signs of being brand new, somehow it doesn’t feel that new? Perhaps just its just cheaper, old fashioned colours and fittings? There’s a security guard at the desk as I enter, and I wonder if he’s worked out what’s going on yet, and what he would think of me as I exited an hour later. (I don’t think he has cottoned on or cares as he was fast asleep on the floor when I exited anyway).

Landed in Dubai around 10PM during a layover on my way to HK. Checked into the Le Meridian Hotel near the airport. My aim for the night was that I fancied either a Fili or an Indian lady. If you were seriously looking for filis, then you were not looking in the best places.

Surest bet would still be Ratsky's.. Karama hotel. If you are sort of ok looking, easy enough to get girls for between 500 - 700 for all night.
If you are (no offense) old or ugly, you might have to pay a couple of hundred more.

There are other places too, but you need to be experienced enough to make out the WG's from the Freelancers and the civilian girls that you should not approach.

Other way to get filis is thru contacts on the forum.
There are many that have experience in this area.

About Indians.. I have no clue about that one, but again.. some other members do.

1. Its Ramadan so many are not on show as have gone home as so few punters.
2. For Filipinas you need contacts especially in Ramadan though outside this period there are plenty in the bars in Dubai
3. As you has a short stopover, you would need contacts as WB says, very hard otherwise especially in Ramadan
4. Indians - no idea about that one not my flavour.

I must not be that ugly or old, as I manage to fine good overnight PI and PRC at 400-500 per very long night, in Abu and in Dxb.

Please define the break point of OLD and UGLY..
