So then back to my favorite current area, Itaewon. On the Hill, just walk it and you just might find what you are looking for. Off the Hill, you never know who will find you. Last experience, CC Bar, Don't remember the enhanced D-cups name but was quite a memorable experience, wanted 250, ended up taking 120 (because I'm a sucker for tits). Were else can you stand doggie at a bar while doing a shot?

How I negotiate; I ask how much, they say 200 (or whatever ridiculous amout) , I say 100, they say 175, I say 90, they say 150, I say 80, they say 100, I say "you know I'm walking out that door if you don't say yes to 70". Please give a description, directions or, better yet, a Daum roadview link.

Seems like the holiday has all but vacated the hill. Cruised by today around 6pm and there was only one provider open (and desperate for business!)

On a side note. Does anyone know the risk of getting caught by police at Cheongyangni? Noticed the station was right behind the district. Also, saw a cop car cruising around.

As far as the police in Cheongyangni, just act like you are walking through and no probs to be had. There is actually a few streetwalkers to be had after dark on the main street shopping district once you pass the red lights. Anyway, as long as they don't see you entering, no problems to be had.

This report is a little bit late in coming but I thought I should post it anyways as is my duty to the guide. It happened in December when I met Tina. Her personality lights up a room. I found a provider that I wanted to do "business" with and circled around enough times to surmise that she wasn't going to invite me in, or take much interest in me for that matter. So I stopped and got her attention and got a clear "ani-yo" with hand-X's and everything. OK. One more circle. Now she knows I want it, but still says no. Fair enough. I write down 200, 000 W for 10 minutes on a piece of paper. She's still firm with her no, but chuckling about my persistence. One more try: 300, 000 W for 10 min. And I indicate no sex, just HJ. Still no!

Clearly other forces are at play here!

Sure they can fuck one foreigner for 300, 000 won, but they can't guarantee a constant flow of waygook customers. Local customers however, are a dime a dozen.

I agree that some girls might be racist / xenophobic, some might even subscribe to the idea that all westerners are disease-ridden, sex maniacs with 9-inch dicks that will bang the pussy sore.

Remember it's also about timing. If you go around peak hours (9pm-2am, weekend evenings) , your chances of success are pretty much nil. Visit around the times that most local customers will be busy doing something other than mongering (church, work, etc) , you might have better luck.

Other advice is to visit the foreigner friendly RLDs and establishments. But PLEASE DO NOT ruin it for other foreigners by paying stupid money (maximum at the RLDs should be 70-80 bucks).

RainMania is spot on with that report. You just need to adjust and understand that the hottest & youngest will give you the cold shoulder. And please, like RainMania stated, don't ruin it for the rest of us with offering riduculous amounts of cash.

I've had some decent luck in that area but never on the main drag that can be seen from all angles. The far street is kind of an alley part way with not a lot of foot / vehicle traffic. I always seem to get invited in over there. I've also noticed that being bundled up increases your chances also. Easy to this time of year meaning low knit hat, scarf over the chin, and sunglasses (even in the evening).

I think you're right about her reason for turning my offer down. She'd be making a pretty penny but potentially cutting of her steady income source.

To be clear, I had no intention of paying such an exorbitant amount for her services. I was just doing a market test, if you will.

But good reminder that the price we pay does, in turn, affect fellow mongerers.
