Thanks.[/QUOTE]Lots of hotels and guest houses in PP. I suggest that you email each to see what their policy is regarding bringing guests to your room. That is my M. O. And it works. Garden City is quite far from the bars, clubs, discos. Probably 12-15 km from the riverside bars. I'm just guessing a $7-$10 tuk tuk fare. White Mansion is on the edge of what I think most would consider ground zero for my idea of Sanuk. For $1 tuk tuk. A quick ride up Street 51 to Pontoon and Heart of Darkness and a few hostess bars. From there, maybe another $1 ride to the streets that have the most hostess bars.

I was there just at the end of April and all the bargirl talent was concentrated around 136,130 and 104. Maybe 110 and 51 if you want some more variety.

A few places staff Viets still to this day:

Golden Vine bar on Street 108.

City Bar on Street 110.

Ben's Bar on Street 110.

Tanabata on Street 63 is Viets only.

Mao's on 106.

At least three of the fish bowl massages including the "massa" place on 252 often mentioned have Viets. So do many of the super cheap boom boom massages on the ring road.

There are also Vietnamese karoke joints on Street 15, Street 136 and others, but they don't take kindly to people who can't at least speak Tieng Viet.

Luckily there are plenty of Khmer beauties in Cambodia. Millions in fact.

I can confirm from my last trip in April that Golden Vine, City Bar and Ben's have NO Viet girls. I have never been to Tanabata or Mao's, thank you for the intel.

Fishbowl massage shops are not my cuppa tea, so I will pass that one.

Also, I have never seen a Karaoke joint on 136, unless you are referring to places that are further to the west, away from the riverside. Would be keen to explore.

[/QUOTE]Mate there are definitely Viet girls in Golden Vine I have known the owner there for 18 years and some of the girls there are good friends that have been there for about 8 years and more. Also quite a few Viet Karaoke places on 130 and 136

Just a quick report. Did stay again at Sun&Moon despite wanting to try something new. They do insist on telling you they charge a 10 $ fee per guest. But even tho registering a few girls on checkout there was no sign of it again on bill. Last time this was the same. No idea why. Maybe the guard at night registering guests doesn't bother. You could even give a fake room number anyway. No check done.

If you don't want the reception asking you to register the guest- before 10/11 nobody bothers asking you anyway.

For those wanting 'new' girls (with zero English) that are completely new to it all: the bar on 136 with two levels (where you can sit on 2 d floor) have 'many'of them and they are lovely altho obv. Shy as. But if you hit the right note with them and can make some sort of connection it can be fun times. Nice place anyway with lovely staff. Also the cutest cashier who unfortunately as the only one in this place can't be 'taken'. Very intelligent Uni student.

Oh the reception girls at Sun&M told me they are planning to build a high-rise new S&M hotel close to the bridge. Planning is underway but they are awaiting elections which are next month as apparently this can have a big effect on the economy / tourism etc.

Oh and there is now a new mega mall. Aeon 2. It's '30 minute' outside the main bar area so not the most convenient for visitors however it is beautiful. It's funny seeing some of the visitors. Many of them apparently never seen a escalator and were too scared to get on it: the Great pick-up place for day-game I imagine and fun to take a girl. Much more vibrant then the original Aeon 1.

I know its a new place, new building. But I kinda of like the old one. I like the sleaziness and the mature women who were there. I'm wondering if those girls are still there or is it cleaned up?

I want to really see everything. I love the sleaziness of the nightlife. I guess its a fetish of mine. I heard about svay pak but heard its closed to all foreigners. Are there places or areas in PP where you have ventured to and thought Jesus I wouldn't want to come here again?

Unless the Viet girls were really ugly and I simply did not cast more than a fleeting glance, there were none there at the time I visited.

Could you please share the coordinates of these Karaoke joints on 130 and 136 please? PM me if you would like some discretion.
