I visited the Pley Club. They had a good lineup there. Last time I was there it was full of fat chicks (150 lb and up). This time only 1 or 2 matched that description. Booking at last minute is saving money. However I knew this was a slow week and could see through [URL]hotels.com[/URL] that many rooms in Bocagrande were available. Unlike many hotels (most of them cheaper that I've stayed at in the past), Hampton Inn has modern furniture, terrific bed, quiet A / see, solid windows (no 3-slat windows that lets bugs, heat and noise enter), nice views, strong wifi and girl friendly (must register them with reception).
Went to playa Hollywood beach around 2:30 pm. I saw 6-8 women who I presumed were working. All average, say 6-7 range (1-10 scale) Didn't encounter Tony#1. (thank God). I went last year paid 90 $ Or so per night I think, and the place was so damn comfortable. Modern, clean, quiet like an oasis in the madness that is Cartagena. Friendly staff, nice free breakfast each morning, and a wonderful rooftop pool that was great to soak in after a day of running around. I had a nice time, but will not return due to all the beggars and sellers of junk, massages etc. That bother you each minute.
