First day off Ramadan, middle day off the four weeks, and the first day of Eid tends to be the main problem days when most places are closed. BATS is open during these "quiet" days, and although all the lights are on and the music is subdued, there is a small number of girls. There is no cover charge for those three days so you can go in, have a look and leave pretty quickly if nothing catches your eye. But be aware, the pickings are slim, and tend to be the hard core girls.

I told her I would meet her at the station at 2pm the next day, I would pick her up take her to the hotel, leave her back to the station, cover travel costs and put 1. 5 million in her hand as she left, provided we went the whole way. There was no reply.

The next day I went to the station, she did not come. I was disappointed, but the funny thing is I think I might have been more disappointed had she caved, she was a proud woman and I admire her for that, I'm not sure I didn't feel a bit of a heel after it all.

Later I went on to a restaurant for dinner, then to a bar, had a few drinks, met a bar girl whose name and face I don't remember, bought her drinks and some food, went back to the hotel for not especially memorable sex.

Tally for the whole rather unexciting evening? Just over 1. 5 million.

Sometimes price isn't everything.

If you ask me, Manila is cheapest, Jakarta is in between and BKK is gotten expensive now.

This is my feedback from a short 4 days stay in Jakarta.

Jakarta scene is a bit complex it's doesn't really have easy to go places like Nana Plaza or Soi Cowbow or Burgos in MNL.

So I would recommand to Jakarta virgins to use the services of JAD ([url]http://www.jakartaafterdark.com/[/url])

This will save you the troubles of the « learning curve » which can be quite long in Jakarta. If you don't know and stay short time, you won't be able to enjoy your visit.

I believe I did the whole tour (the newbie one at least.)

300K places such as : Classic, Hotel Travel, Stadium.

Pick up bars such as : CJ's, Top Gun in Blok M.

Spa : Alexis.

Alexis is a nice place for those that like Macau style places. But I had a disapointing service (compare to the 300K one). As I paid 2, 5 for the service, entrance, drink I can't really recommand the place! :)

As JAD says, « in Jakarta paying more doesn't ensure better services, it just means you'll fuck a better looking girl by indonesian standards »

That means tall / thin girl with a lighter complexion.

Overall I have mixed feeelings about Jakarta. It's a promising place, but I've had more luck with Manila girls. Also communications is easier as most girls in the Phils speak english properly.

But thanks to JAD I've had a pleasant time in Jakarta.

Jakarta is not hit as hard as other areas but you may want to check.

Bali is not affected by Ramadan. The place is mainly buddhist.
