Other than the Chinese place, when I have gone to some of these better restaurants in AC, I was the only customer.

AC just doesn't attract the type of people that would make a high class restaurant viable. No offense to the esteemed members of ISG, but I think most of you know what I'm talking about.

At Cottage Kitchen I was tempted to tell the owner to bugger off since he decided to chat with his only customer the whole time I was eating my gumbo. He was a nice enough guy, but damn! X

Thanks to the forum. My first trip to AC was good.

Most of the info is already there, I will add my two cents.

Stayed at Swiss Chalet. Fine property at 1500 P per night.

Among the non-dancer bars, I would recommend Honky Tonk behind the Swiss Chalet. Local beer 65 P, lady drink 120 P, ST 700 P, LT bar fine 1200 P and I believe additional for the girl. Most of the girls are great. I can remember the name of only Erma for now.

Most of the dance bars, local beer 95 P, lady drink I think 150 P, bar fine 1500 P and addtional for the girl say 500 or 700 P. In some bars like Doll House, Crystal Palace, Club Asia etc bar fine is of 2 types : 1500 P and 3000 P, additional for the girl.

Some are also 24 hours like Doll House, Voodoo, Pony Tails etc. The Pasha Group also has good girls.

AC is mongers paradise. Enjoy friends.

Kool, nice field report. You mention extra for the lady; are you talking about a tip? At the bars you mention, I only pay the original barfine, nothing more. I'm wondering if they told you that you had to give more to the girl later (ie, next day or when she leaves).

Just to forestall a flame war on the 'extra for the girl' bit, it should be clarified that this is completely voluntary...up to you. Some people regularly pay more, and some people regularly pay nothing. The bf price is fixed however.

For those thinking that the food may get you sick in AC or prices too high in AC, the easier solution is what I did. Just walk over to the SM Mall and eat there, many places to choose from. Prices are ok and never gotten sick eating there. IMHO

Judging from what Kool had written, I'd say it sounds like the amount of tips he left for the ladies he took out from these places, but some of the tips seem to be on the very high side as it is about half of the BF.

Well for Honky Tonk ST I paid 200 P as tips, I did not try LT with them. For the dance bar girls I paid 500 P as tips for the 1500 P bar fined girls. I did not try the 3000 P bar fine girls.

The hotel question generally only works for you. As a population these girls have been to most hotels in town. If you say you are staying at the ABC, Lewis Grand or Wild Orchid (not meant to be an exhaustive list) one will often get a positive response from the girl, particularly if you suggest the next day you and her can go swimming. The American Hotel is much maligned, and in most cases the girls have heard of the ghost but it won't prevent them from going there. Many of these girls have done short time in the hourly rate hotels which are far shabbier than any proper hotel that most tourists stay at.

The girls are not great conversationists, they all ask the same thing. Where are you from, where are you staying, how old are you, do you have a wife or girlfriend? If you are a good guy, the answer does not much matter, unless they know your girlfriend or wife. As far as guaging your wallet, that is usually done by the way you order. Order one SML for yourself, go through a cautious approach on making sure her order is a single ladies drink and ensuring she spends maximum time with you on each drink, going through an exhaustive question process on what you will receive for you money should you decide to bf her. Not suggesting success is only for the big spenders, but these girls see how guys order, how they count the money out of their pocket, what tip they leave, to know enough on the expected budget of the customer.

Appears to be a lot of effort for nothing. You do know that some bars, like Gecko's, give the girl an extra day's pay if she returns to the bar from a barfine during her shift? Even a third day's pay if she does a second short time bf and returns before the shift is over. This does not matter to many as they only want a short time, but in some bars there is a financial incentive in the girl not staying all night with you. There are penalties in some bars for girls that fail to get enough ladies drinks before taking a barfine or take a multiple day barfine without reporting to work on the second and successive days. Not always the case, but at times some of the most popular bars have the incentives rigged against you unless you are willing to financially compensate. The girl will almost never tell you this.

Tomorrow I'll be in Angeles for one single night, and I would like to try to avoid to barfine a runner.
I know that should be impossible to be sure, but I would like to try, no matter if this will cost me a little bit more (I'll be in Angeles just for one night, maybe in my life!). I'll stay at Central Park.
