i have booked fast track at kiev airport for arrival at us$340.

that is the rate i got in the internet.

google "speedpass visa platinum"

you will be able to book it through them. i have used their service a number of times for europe and asian destinations and they are very professional.

frankly speaking been a lot of times in kiev, in the visa time and not in the visa time (for eu citizens)... even got in/out on normal borders (car and train), frankly speaking the longest wait was 15-20 minutes... (a part the train approx 40-50 min but there there is nothing to do), also car, if you are not in a long queue with some strange person in the middle might be very fast.

i really prefer to put those 340 usd a a blonde tiny teen in my bed! :d

the only ee and fsu airports where the service might be of some use is moscow, when you get 747's full loaded of people from asia, generally china or japan it might take 1-2 hours, but it's really a random condition.

Last time I was in Borispol (September) it took me 50 minutes to have my passport cleared. A long way to go. That being said, prices quoted here for a fast track are a nice rip off.

Both in UA and RUS you should have always your passport but...

If you have a photocopy (also of the Visa page!) and a valid national ID usually police says nothing. Even better if you have also a Hotel card and tell them that the passport is there...

PS in any case mind that it's illegal so if they want they can fine you, the thing is harder in Russian than in Ukraine and simpler in big cities. In a lot of years I have never been stopped by UA police (apart when driving car).
