I have stayed in the Orchid in and in Encore. While these two places are spitting distance from each other physically, they are worlds apart in classiness. Encore had a nice enough room (for my purposes) but the entrance is pretty shabby. This still did not phase any of my 'little friends' from staying.

I do tend to find my bf on the late side of the evening, so I suppose they could already assume that I expect LT service. I also tend to let them find me, rather than calling a girl over. I tend to be a fairly quiet guy anyway. I have never asked that they perform any particular act prior to their arrival and usually just spend my time with them in the bar joking with them and getting to know them a bit. If they seem ok, then I will agree when the inevitable question comes up of whether I want to take them out or not. I never buy more than 2 or 3 LDs. I might get one for the mamasan, or I might not.

I typically like to "go with the flow", and see where these girls will take me. I have had some that are a bit on the starfish side, of course, and some that have rocked my world! But I tend to just try to be easy going all around, and try not to be too impatient for "the deed". I usually give them 1000php in the morning along with trike fare. I have rarely (I don't recall it happening actually) discussed finances with the girl at all, except to know how much trike money they need.

Other tips:

- make sure the girl likes you (at least a bit) in the bar before barfining her. I don't really interview the girl over the ladydrink. I tell her jokes and show her silly bar tricks. And sneak a few interview questions disguised as jokes.

- treat her well while she is with you: feed her, give her a good time in bed, make her laugh, play silly games with her

- unless you look like Brad Pitt, money matters. If you pull a girl early afternoon, say, and don't discuss the tip amount with her, she is in a bind too. If she stays with you till next morning/afternoon, doing several rounds, and then get a small 100-200 tip, it will hardly be worth her time. Don't blame the girl for wanting to stay that long if a good tip isn't guaranteed. So keep that in mind.

Been to Thailand & phils before & I'm still tryin to figure out why 9 out of 10 thais stay with you till you ask them to leave but 9 out of 10 pinoys wants to leave your room after first session. Lets say 3/4 am!

Even then, it was only P500, and she was happy for me to barfine her the next night as well.

I'm not kuripot, it's just the subject has never come up. I didn't know about the tendency to tip afterwards when I began my trips here; it's one of the reasons I started coming to AC, because I knew that Manila and Cebu girls both want tips, and usually negotiate them in the bar.

As I said, I'm not cheap; I'll take girls out barhopping, or to a nice restaurant, no problem; if I barfine them more than 2 times (rare), I even go to SM and get them a P500 silver bracelet or necklace. Maybe it's because I always treat them with respect (though I know a lot of guys here do the same) or I'm just that great a lover or super gwapo (end sarcasm). I do know that if I go back to the same bar too soon, the girl will be upset if I don't pick her again (this happened at the Body Shop a couple of weeks ago: my friend called down a girl for me before I could stop him, and the girl I had barfined *6 months before* got so upset she sat down sulking on stage; the papasan even fined her for not dancing).

I have had one girl ask me in the morning, "Where's my tip?" Since she was so bad in bed the night before (total starfish and no kissing, and no morning session either), I told her, "Here's a tip: negotiate before you come to the room." I also went to the girl's bar (Atlantis) later and talked with one of the mamasans, who I'm friends with, and once she heard the story, she just laughed at my answer and said, "Yeah, she's trouble." That being said, I haven't had problems with other girls from Atlantis after that either.

I guess what I'm trying to say is do what you want regarding tips, but they're not necessary, especially if you treat the girls well and aren't super disgusting in one way or another.

I'm in Angeles now, and I barfined my first Angeles girl in the afternoon, from Voodoo, 1500php. It was 5.00pm, and most of the other bars were closed.

I asked ST but two pops, in bar, and she agreed. I promised her a good tip.
Nothing to complain in room, I gave her 500php tip and she seems happy enough. She asked me to barfine her again tomorrow.

But this is not a bad thing. Sometimes they stay for days or weeks.

I am planning on taking a 2 week or so trip to Thailand in a few months. While I am there I thought it might be nice to shoot over to Angeles City for a few days while I am there. What would be the most cost-efficient way to do this? Should I try to book the flight (BKK to MNL or BKK to CRK) from the US or from Thailand?

A quick internet search shows me flights from BKK to CRK for a 4 day trip at over $2000 with at least one stop and around $550 direct to MNL. I have heard that cheap flights can be found between these two locations but I cannot find them. Any advice? Note this question will also be posted in the Thailand forum.

I always fly with cebu pacific air. Have flights BKK-clark around 11. 30 pm arrive clark@4 am. (direct flight)

During the night, after long barhopping, I headed to Voodoo again very late, let's say 3am.

Barfined the door girl, Jane, asked her to remain 'till next morning without promising her a tip.

She stayed until 9am, gave her 500php tip and she was really happy about that.

All in all, I had two good experience in Angeles with 4 sessions in a few hours.

By the way, even if I'm not an Angeles expert and I visited only the Field area, I can say that Angeles can't be compared to Pattaya in any way. Just my humble opinion.

1) Cheaper girls.

2) Girls speak English.

3) BBBJ is standard; in Thailand you have to ask.

4) Easier to get girls to do lesbian stuff (IMO)

7) A lot more safer.

Pattaya would normally win hands down, but the price factor does matter. It kills my budget to bar fine 2 or 3 girls from a Pattaya go-go bar.

Other people have warned about the clerks ripping you off on change at the 7-11s (one on Fields and the other on MacArthur). This is a correct warning!

The one on MacArthur Hwy attempted to rip me off.

I was there late, obviously drunk. I bought stuff that was 180 pesos. I gave him a 1000 peso note. He gave me back 720 pesos instead of 820.

It was not an honest mistake. On the receipt, he put down the exact amount on the "amount tender". Hence there was no change calculated on the receipt.

I checked afterwards. Every single time I go to any 7-11, the clerk will always put down what bill you gave him.

[/QUOTE]It seems GB has looked at things from an Angeles City bar vs. Pattaya agogo point of view, but IMHO it is a comparison between apples and oranges. Anytime I have been in an agogo in Pattaya there has been some type of show going on, but in AC not as much. So I would be more inclined to compare the bars in AC with the beer bars in Pattaya instead of the agogos. However I will shy away from that section because my field of expertise is freelancers.

1. In both locations my going rate for LT (overnight and maybe into the next afternoon) FL from the discos is 1000 local currency. Since I am American 1000 Thai baht = US$33. 19 while 1000 Phil Pesos = US$22. 90. It is worthy to note that my wingmen did manage to get LT FL in AC for 500 Phil Pesos = US$11. 45. Just as well ST in Pattaya can be had anywhere from 300-500 Thai baht (US$9. 97. US$16. 62) on Beach Road.

2. As far as speaking English, most girls in Pattaya discos do speak a favorable amount of English. They usually learn from music and American movies with Thai subtitles.

3. I have never had to ask a FL in Pattaya for a BBBJ. It pretty much comes standard. However I will say that BBBJ is more of an art form from AC FL. Those women must watch a looooottt of porno movies because they have the technique down. Two hands and a lot of spit. You will definitely need new sheets after all of the wetness generated from an AC FL's mouth during a BBBJ.

4. I can not comment on the lesbian thing as I have not attempted it in either place. I have had enough of it from the termas in Brazil as well as real life in various countries. However if that is what you like then there is a place in Pattaya called the Devil's Den that specializes in that. For 3600 baht (US$119) you get two girls for 90 minutes and damn near anything goes. You can look at the girls' profiles online to see what they will and won't do before you visit.

4b. The transportation system in Pattaya is much better. The cost is 1200 baht (US$39. 89) including tolls for the hour and a half ride in a private car from the airport in BKK to Pattaya. From the airport in Manila to AC it was 2500 Phil Pesos (US$57. 26). As GB mentioned the baht buses are 10 baht but to me it is better to rent a scooter for 150 Thai Baht (US$4. 98) per day or if you are a long term visitor about US$80 for the month. To me there is really not anywhere in AC to go that you would need transportation. We took a jeepney to the Chinese Restaurant and back as well as to Clark and back. The only time we took a trike was to the bus station when we were leaving and it cost us 80 Phil Pesos (US$1. 83) for the 5 minute ride. The rest of the time we walked.

5. Pattaya definitely has better accommodations for the money. You can get an apartment for as little as 500 baht (US$16. 62) /day. I am a long term renter there and my room costs 4000 baht (US$132) /month and the building is only a couple of years old. In AC Central Park cost us US$40 / day.

6. Pattaya definitely has more non-mongering related activities because many families from all over Europe and the Middle East (including India) go there for vacation. You can do anything from swimming with dolphins to doing a tour of Ripley's Believe It or Not to the Hard Rock Cafe.

7. I can not comment on the safety aspect. I feel safe damn near anywhere I go.
