I found the same thing out traveling around Brazil. It was obvious that all the ones with the great looks were going to Sao Paulo and Rio, because the ones left in the smaller cities and towns were barely doable. You see the stars in the bigger cities and you are inclined to think there must be some real gems hidden in out of the way places or feeder towns, when in fact the ones who are of age have already headed off to where all the big action is.

Actually, most girls who are working in tourist-oriented venues in Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Koh Samui (etc.) are not deemed as attractive by the locals and would not dare to try their luck in the Thai-oriented places. You don't find many mothers, fat, old, dark-skinned girls in Thai-oriented P4P places.

What is true is that, on average, the prostitutes working in a tourist-oriented place are usually better performers than those working in places patronized by the locals. For instance, it's quite common to get a good BBBJ from a Pattaya-based provider, while it's not often the case from a girl working in a local brothel upcountry.

The girls working in Thai-oriented venues usually don't speak any English. Most of them are already earning good money (by Thai standards), so, they don't have the need to go work elsewhere. Moreover, some of them prefer having to deal mostly with Thai customers for several reasons (for instance, they are probably easier to satisfy on average, the communication with them is easier, etc.).

I have been in many kinds of venues in the Land of Smiles since 1999, and according to my own experience I would say that, on average, the best-looking girls (and by far) are found in Thai-oriented venues, but if you are looking for a great performer, you are more likely to find one in the tourist-oriented P4P places.

Regarding my earlier post: I since saw the fake cop sunning himself on a deck chair opposite Royal Garden, with him and the chair facing the road, not the sea. He was talking away on his cell phone. An obvious scam merchant. Do not use the jet ski type people at all.

Flicking through the Pattaya Mail today, I saw several farangs done, after being honey trapped by a farang.

Songkran is quiet so far. It is early and most eateries etc closed.

And they're off; Songkran has officially started as it's pouring in Pattaya. Beach Road providers are seeking shelter elsewhere, let the activities begin.

Phuket is a very nice, friendly and relaxing place. I have really enjoyed going there for years and also fuelled this thread. But too many people who don't know how much to pay and also don't know what is a pretty asian girl (I. E. They see stunners everywhere) have killed the market.

I don't mind paying more for higher quality, but in Phuket the rule is rather to pay more for lower quality.

- the main reason I know prefer Pattaya is because of the girls, not the price. It just happens that it's cheaper as an additional benefit. I've been alternatively to Phuket and Pattaya for some time and the comparison has been enlightning.

I would say that Phuket is 33-50% more expensive than Pattaya for comparable services and products (including but not limited to P4P).

Anything at 7-11, Carrefour: EXACTLY the same.

BFs: I don't do bars, guess the same.

Taxi: I don't take them. There are virtually no tuk tuk in Phuket - THANKS HEAVEN.

Since three of my favorite MPs in Bangkok (Tulip, Snow White and Victoria) are closed and Mango has only reduced opening hours, I decided to make an excursion to Pattaya. After having checked in at Areca Lodge. The rooms in the new building are quite nice. And a lunch in soi Buakhao I went to pay a visit to my favorite bar My friend you at Soi 6. There the water battle was on and I decided to go down Soi 6. 1 and take the back entrance. Coming in I was greeted enthusiatically. So, after watching the water battle from the balcony for some time, I thought the time had come for upstairs action. They have at least one new room with inside shower which I visited with Eat, Chomphu, Nok and Nid. One by one with breaks to recover. Of the four, I would rate Chomphu at the very top. She even supplied a nice massage afterward during which I dozed off. Followed by Nid. Eat is maybe the most attractive and she might be first choice for someone who likes it rough. All in all, a very satisfactory afternoon. In the evening, the outside water games stopped and there was business as usual.

I am guessing that you have invested in a condo or in some business in Phuket (or intend to do so) to promote this place like you do.

Anyway, speaking about entry level and high-end prices is irrelevant, as it does not reflect much the differences in prices on average. I don't doubt that one can find super-cheap or very expensive accommodations in both places. But on average, for similar quality in a comparable location (near the action, for instance) , one has usually to pay about 33-50% more in Phuket than in Pattaya. It's logical, because more accommodations are available in Pattaya, therefore, the market prices are (on average) lower than in Phuket.

Call me a cheap Charlie if you wish, but on average, I pay less than you in Pattaya (for instance, many decent streetwalkers can be had for 500 baht ST, only 300 baht for the older ones, and the "Bush ladies" are even cheaper as it as been reported by several ISG members earlier in this thread). I've never paid more than 1500 LT for a girl met in a disco (in my own experience, many disco freelancers are quite happy with only 1000 baht LT in Pattaya).

I won't comment about the prices of "high end girls", as it depends on many variables (and mostly on how much the "high end girl" believes that the customer is willing to pay).

Once again, Phuket is a great place, but it's a known fact that Pattaya is (on average) much cheaper, even if one can get some very good deals in Phuket too, which I don't doubt.
