As of 2018, HK insists VIPs give their cars to the valet guys. They would drive and park the cars at Pepe's. The poor valet guys would sit in the cold usually run to Pepe's to pick up car fast at the end of the night. I can't see any benefits to the valet system except to help the parking guys get more tips. HK girls were always leaving their cars with valets. Last weekend, a young and pretty HK girl picked up her bright red, brand new Camaro, and tipped the valet $2. She probably makes more money and have lots more fun partying and having hot sex every night than El Presidente Enrique Pena Nieto hehe.

If you are driving a nice car, you might be the target of envy. I've seen one of the valets and several of the HK staff walking to work in the morning then the locals likely watch Americans driving up in nice cars while they cannot afford a bicycle. . . Was here with Captain Solo day before Presidents day who I finally met after reading his comment posts that never cease to amaze me on here LOL. I try not to use them because the fee was pretty high (it has been a while so I don't remember what it was) and on my bank statement it said, the withdraw was from Zona Norte. Now I plan better and I either use banks or normally I exchange for pesos before crossing border. My only concern is I am crossing the border often times with close to $1,500 in cash and pesos. Never been a problem but makes me a little nervous sometimes.
And make sure you tell your bank. I have made that embarrassing mistake before.
The ATM in HK's and Cascada's lobbies all dispense pesos; terminal cost about 90 pesos, plus whatever your bank charges for overseas transactions.
If you search this thread under "ATM" there are lots of infos already posted.
The 2 Scotia ATMs next to Adelita on Coahuila dispense either pesos or dollars; terminal fee is only 9 pesos, plus overseas transaction fee which is zero for Bank America's clients. That area is near La Zona's bars, well lighted, frequented by people day and night, and the armed security guards at Adelita door are only 10 feet away, making those ATMs safe. I have not had any problems there for over 18 years.
