Friday night 2 weeks ago, I was sitting at the bar by myself without a wingman, drinking Chicago's free beer. No less than 10 girls were walking by, giving me the eyes. Went in Chicago Thursday night 11 PM. The club has doubled in size, expanded into the rear with a new strip stage, so it has 2 large stages with a jacuzzi in the middle.

There were roughly a dozen girls, 2 were stripping on stages, 2 sitting in the foaming jacuzzi, a few sitting with guys, the rest sitting quietly around the 2 bars. Chicago girls are mostly older and heavier for Mexican taste; none peeked my interest. There was not much excitement in Chicago. The strippers did not get any propinas. The girls just sat around quietly, not talking, not having fun, the complete opposite of HK.

The door guy told me Chicago now opens 24 hours a day. The music was thumping all night to hotel Leyva. I checked in again 10 AM the next morning. The music was going but there were no girls inside.

Chicago's hotel is being remodeled, may be even expanded. Chicago just has to find ways to bring in more guys into its door to pay for the upgrades. Start with more hot young flirty girls.

Many mongers have reported that the touts offer $1 beers to lure in customers. Well, actually the beers are supposed to be free. It's a scam that they pull just to get $1 out of you. Honestly, I like going to Chicago on weekends because it is active but not crowded like HK is. But watch out for the meseros they're constantly trying to pull scams like with the bag of chips.

Effrain must be the chubby guy with a mustache, hanging out in front hotel Garcia handing out free beer coupons. He was dreaming that some guys tipped him $50 a night, which would never happen.

However, Chicago has hired a new, younger MC and a whole new crew of meseros, a few speak English and are far more polite than the old crew. The old guy, with thick eye brows looking like an owl, used to be atrocious, insulting clients if they don't immediately buy drinks from him. The new meseros are more laid back, but they would again and again bring the chicas over to your table to sell fichas. I found a very sweet-looking young girl in my last visit. The new MC was laughing when I thought he announced arribas for $20. He said $20 was for lap dances in the booths; arriba was $100. Damn. It's not going to help Chicago launch their new business with higher prices and less attractive chicas than HK's. Chicago has to find the niche where it can win over entrenched competition, with either better quality, lower prices, quicker logistics ect.

Now that Chicago has expanded its facilities, it can steal clients from HK, Chevelas and Tropical by using a number of measures: more attractive girls; fun and sexy MCs to engage clients; more coupons for free beers, free lap dances, discount arribas and hotel; frequent fucker mileage; lower drink prices; lower arriba prices ect.

Meanwhile we should spend some money in Chicago to help them stay in business and drive some real competition against HK, with the ultimate goals to improve services, selections, quality, prices, revenue for the sex industry in La Zona.
