East China - Shanghai

Bruce, the best option for getting to Suzhou is train. Catch a D train from Shanghai Railway Station, it will take aprox. 40 minutes to Suzhou (usually the second stop).

For tickets there is one English speaking counter at Shanghai Railway Station, be advised that there is no such counter at Suzhou so also buy the return ticket in Shanghai.

After arriving in Suzhou, walk out together with the horde of people to the taxi stand. For saunas (hot spring clubs) the best option is to go to Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP). If you dont speak chinese prepare taxi cards so you can get to the different locations. See posts in the Suzhou thread for more information about the clubs. Two good options are:

The Peninsula Hot Springs Club (located in a neighborhood center behind the Renaissance Hotel).
Whynn International Hot Springs Club (located next to the Shilla Hotel in the Times Square Shopping Area)

Taxi would cost approx 30RMB to Peninsula and 40RMB to Whynn from the railway station.

After a long flight, I thought it a good idea to get a good HE massage. Went to 191 Nandan since it was close, although I was debating the new soapy that was posted over on Nandan Dong (east) and Xietu. But with time and money, I can take care of that experience.

This was my first HE oil massage. After 999 and Sacrosa, I thought I needed a new experience. Well, it doesn't compare.

First, you go in. I was automatically ushered in by a girl. Up the stairs, into a room. The room was pretty sketchy. The floor was oily (and I'm only guessing what else). After a little wait the girl comes in. She was a solid 8. The massage was good. It's pretty legit up until she props your legs up on her thighs and starts giving the little man some attention. Eventually flipped over and at that point there was access to touch her. The word 'tip' comes up. She said 200, which I thought fair but then I assumed it covered everything. I tried taking off her top and it went 300. I said no. For 200 I got access to everything downstairs, which was fine for me. I rubbed her off, and no mention of tip was made again.

At the end got stiffed for the foot massage. Apparently everyone was busy. I wasn't really wanting to spend another 40 minutes. I didn't see a number on her to reference, but there's no fishbowl, so unless you've got language skills and are a regular, you get what you get.

The good, is that it's cheap way to get off 228 RMB. If you don't care to touch, you can walk out for 228 RMB. So, long as you can pop, you'll be just as happy. The place is dingy. Just fair warning. You get what you pay for.

Few places worth mentioning:

1. I have been getting FS from a normal massage place where massages are 30rmb. She never asked for more money or phone number or anything. She teased me with nipple play and kissing. The problem is the shop is really not set up for it so there are plenty of times we simply could not make it happen.

Go to the corner of ShaanXi Lu and Chang Ping Lu. There is a small shop where they have 20rmb foot massage with only 4-5 chairs, then in the back of that there are 2 massage beds with only curtains for "privacy". Make sure to get the furthest back bed. The only time she will do it is when nobody else is in the back section and we get the back bed. Ask for "Cui Hua" to massage you. Best strategy is get a foot massage to break the ice. If she asks how you know her name just BS and say you came here before, heard someone say her name and it looks like her massage skill is good. (Don't expect a supermodel for 30rmb, hump quick and quietly or you will get everyone in trouble and blow a good thing for me)

2. One block down ShaanXi Lu (toward Jing An direction) Between Chang Ping Lu and Kang Ding Lu is a strip of shops that appears to have just opened. They claim they have been there for 3 years, but I have been investigating that block for a while, and at a minimum they have been closed for a long time. There are a few legit foot places, and a few that are definitely questionable. I got FS is the first shop (closest to Chang Ping Lu). They are Wen Zhou girls, which from my experience 95% of the time never offer FS). She asked for 200 but agreed to 150. Guys, PLEASE pay 150. We cant let them get away with charging too much especially 150 now is almost like 200 a few years ago.

Service was very nice, although she got to the point of her massage kind of quick. Her breasts were large, and vag was super clean and smooth but not tight. I took the older of the bunch. There is a young cutie that is worth trying.
