Kt Lover, could you let us know which hotel this was? I think she might have been pushing the truth somewhat. Hotel wages are normally 500,000 to 700,000 for a basic job, like waitress, pool attendants, maids, etc
I think what Mighty is saying, is that tipping the pimp was absolutely not required. You overpaid about 2X the price for your LT experience, and she went back to the pimp in the morning, and probably gave him 300,000 or more.

If you are still in Bali, you should be able to find a much prettier girl, for about 1/2 what you spent.

Prof[/QUOTE]Thanks Prof for the offer but ended up just doing the usual mongering at Embargo, Bounty and Paddys. Ended up doing a long time ( as in for the week ) with a nice Javanese lady who REALLY pushed my buttons and spent the week either in my apartment or hers.
Interesting experience getting to know them on a more intimate level over that period of time and staying in the same block of rooms as 1/2 the girls from Bounty, eating with them, becoming friends with them and talking to them gives you a whole new perspective of there predicament.

Day 1:
Arrived in Bali from Jakarta at around 8pm on 1 June 08 (after a long delay of flights from Jakarta). Proceeded to check-in to Wina Holiday Villa Hotel. Showered and went to find my dinner and to return to the hotel to sleep as the next day had a meeting to attend. Ate at the food court not far from Hard Rock hotel.

Hi all, I have been quiet for a while lurking back here basically waiting to give some sort of a good report. Although I personally am not mongering at the moment, I see that Bali is certainly bringing a lot of mongers to town.
Some new places to check out
Ocean Beach Club - At the beach end of Poppies 2, run by the people that run ESC and Skygarden, very popular and food isnt bad either.
Eikon - Opened on saturday, they are wanting the more upclass person to go there so they told me no WGs, I would say that they will let in the good looking well dressed girls (Hey this is Bali) Nice smallish Lounge restaurant that I think will do well if they market right... Location next to MBargo on the left hand side, just after Mbargo, before Crusoes.
Kuta is getting a major injection of new clubs at the moment...

ViAiPi - will be a huge club/lounge bar on the old Paddys site next to the the Monument and next door to Skygarden/ESC
Skygarden - These guys have done a deal with My Room and are building a connecting piece between the two venues to bring in both crowds.
Next to the 24hr convenience store. - Being built at the moment is a new club which will be basically across the road from Bounty and Paddys, this club is owned by the same people as Mbargo, Bounty, Double 66 etc. it look s to be a good venue but no name yet... more as I find out.
As to the girl scene, isnt it always the way that when you are off the market all the honeys suddenly appear. I am seeing more and more good looking girls out and about and if you are looking for company in Bali, you would have to be the Elephant man to not score. I even have girls approaching me when I am walking with my GF...

The X houses in Sanur, Bali are easier to find than I had thought, given what I had read earlier on ISG. I visited 4 different X houses, none of them were dumps, and 3 of the 4 featured mainly young girls (early 20s).
There are two main north-south roads in Sanur, Jalan Bypass Ngurah Rai which is the main multi-lane road that carries most of the through traffic, and a narrower one-lane-in-each-direction road (Jalan Danau Poso which becomes Jalan Danau Tamblingan) which forks off of the main road at the southern end of Sanur, and then essentially runs parallel to the main road, just off of the beach. Most of the X houses were on Jalan Danau Poso.
[U]Summary of my visit here:[/U]
I had a taxi drive me around to three different places, # 67x and # 29x on Jalan Danau Poso, and “Dian Ayu” off of the main road. In each place, I decided to not take a girl at that time, and ended up having the taxi drop me off at the On-On Bar. I had a beer at the bar, then walked back up the road, ending up having a decent session at # 67x. While walking up the road, I walked past # 29x and discovered # 101x on my own.
My decent session at # 67x was with Icha, 20 years old, very pretty face, a bit shy, much larger than normal breasts (firm/no kids), not GFE, decent BJ skills, tight, had only worked there a short while, from Bandung in West Java. 200,000 rupiah plus a 50,000 rupiah tip.

Here are the landmarks, with the Tessar Shop as an easy starting point and the On-On Bar as an end point:

[B]“Circle K” store[/B], with a sign for “Rezki Massage” by the road
[B]# 67x[/B] is right down the alley to the left of the Circle K store. I visited here twice, for both visits I sat down outside in the courtyard and within less than one minute 5 girls appeared in a line-up, all early 20s and attractive. The price quoted was 300,000 rupiah when the taxi brought me there, then later on the price was only 200,000 rupiah when I walked in on my own. Rooms are in villas around the courtyard, fairly new and very clean. I ended up having a session here (see above).
[B]# 29x[/B], there’s a lit-up black and white sign at beginning of alley. Once you go down the alley, there’s an open large pavilion-type room, with one meter tall walls and then straw mats hanging down from the ceiling to block the view from outsiders until you walk behind the mats. The room is a open-fish-bowl set-up with at least 20 girls sitting around, most appeared to be in early 20s. The price quoted was 300,000 rupiah when I arrived with a taxi, I did not stay.
[B]# 101x[/B], the entrance is directly on the roadside, with 15/20 girls right inside in the front yard and front room. A couple of girls were standing at the front door and it was obvious what was going on here. This place is directly across from the Orange Mini-Mart convenience store. The price quoted was 250,000 rupiah when I walked in on my own, I did not stay as I was heading over to # 67x, but this place would have been my second choice in case # 67x didn’t work out.
[B]On-On Bar[/B], a low key, neighborhood bar with pool tables, cute bar girl employees, a couple of free-lance hookers in their 30s dressed in black, most customers are European or Aussie men.
[U]Here’s the trick on getting the best house price:[/U]
I learned that the rate quoted will be lower if you walk in rather than if a taxi brings you in. For example, at # 67x, I was quoted 300,000 rupiah when I came with a taxi. When I returned later, walking in, the rate had dropped to 200,000 rupiah. So, I recommend that you take a taxi to either the On-On Bar or the Orange Mini-Mart, then make your way on foot to the three places.
[B]”Dian Ayu”[/B] I also was taken by the taxi driver to a 4th place which was off the main north-south road (rather than the parallel beach road). It is known as “Dian Ayu” and had at least 20 girls, all of whom appeared to be [U]over[/U] 30 years old, many with “visible mileage” on their faces and bodies. Not surprisingly, these girls were the most aggressive. After I saw the line-up and said I’d leave, some of the girls came up to me to flirt with me and grab my crotch, etc. Although there were one or two decent choices here, I personally would not return here, no point in doing so when the other 3 places all have lots of younger, prettier girls to choose from.

thanks for pointing out my confusing reference. i have edited my report so that it now states that danau poso is "one-lane-in-each-direction."
i'm not surprised to read that there are more x houses in the area, and i'll try to explore them the next time that i'm in bali. it's interesting to see such activity in the area, as i was staying at the bali hyatt sanur (walking distance from the on-on bar) and had passed by on this road several times during the day without knowing that this is the neighborhood of the x houses; the neighborhood looks like a regular indonesian neighborhood and does not look "sleazy" in the manner of, say, the streets with mps in kota-jakarta.
