East China - Shanghai

I've mongered in many countries, but when I started mongering in China, I didn't know about this forum and it was my first time mongering without a local monger showing me the ropes. So, my first time in a BBS, I was quoted 800, LOL just LOL. I negotiated it down to 300. And this is what I now pay at my favorite BBSs with no negotiating. But from the local friends that I've made, they have all told me they only pay 100-150. I've tried to negotiate that price when I'm on my own, but the girls never budge below 300 thinking that I'm a rich Laowai, even when I try out new BBSs. They've even let me walk out.

It is true. My experience exactly. Depending on the place / quality ratio, the local price is 100-200 RMB. I can never get it either although I do not monger in SH that often. They just let me walk. It must be an internal deal with the girls that they must earn more for laowai. That said, I have been successful for 300 RMB takeout several time.

I will be making my first visit to Shanghai in December and would like to know if there are any saunas or BBS near the Yuyuan Garden metro station.

I would also like to know how late BBS in Shanghai are open as every time I travel to Asia I have jetlag and wake up in the middle of the night.

Seems to be around midnight, but a little later on weekends. Chinese people aren't generally late night people.
