My only concern about the room was the air conditioner, it never went lower than 82 farenheit. Jaosousa had the same problem two weeks later after my visit but he has been there again a couple of times and said everything was ok.

Hotel Roma 2, the rooms look like they were all recently refurbished, prices starting at $45US. I have not stayed at either hotel roma, I have walked by them. I just got back today. I spent time all over the DR. Santo domingo, puerto plato, Sosua and San francisco. I used the bus system which was very effective and inexpensive. There are many low cost alternative in the DR. I met a guy who booked low cost secure appartment for 325 a month. You have to go to Sosua. The town is an urban brothel. My words can not do it justice. There is a hotel very well located Rockys. There are nice appartments across the street 50 bucks the hotel is 35 a nite. You will not beleive how many gorgeous women walking around. Almost all the women are on the menu. You can also find many working girls in Santo Domingo casinos.

I keep seeing on this board talk about a semi pro, pro and non pro. I am interested from the experts here what you consider a Dominican non pro. I think it would be great for the newbies who throw that term around without thinking about it who should be considered a non pro and semi pro. This is my example of a non-pro. I met a girl who works for a government agency while conducting business. She only speaks Spanish. While waiting for my appointment, I start a conversation with her.
