I'd agree with most of the generalizations but as for the P for P scene, i still am not convinced. I regularly visit several 98% Thai massage places where a few Japanese/Koreans is about as farang as it gets...now i do tell most of my farang friends that the girls there generally can be hotter than most of the gals in Sukhumvit, not to mention actually cheaper if you start adding what people spend on bar fines and lady drinks...and the service is guaranteed without attitude...that said, even though the girls there generally have slightly lighter skin, there are still plenty who would fit right in the middle as far ask skin tone would go down on Sukhumvit...and not to mention that chatting with the gals, i'd say that 70-80% come from Isaan...the same girls that all the middle class Thai businessmen are going with....if you go up to the gogo bars in Sutthisan, which is 100% Thai, it is the same deal...yeah, there are some lighter skinned girls, but overall, if they all strolled down Sukhumvit they certainly wouldn't be sticking out as northern girls or middle class girls and i'd say that again 80% of them are from Isaan...i think it is a bit like the argument that farangs like dark skinned girls...how many Thai women with light skin have told me that farangs dont like them because of this...i tell them that this stereotype is due to the fact that 95% of all farangs who come to Thailand go to find women in Sukhumvit, and in that scene, probably 95% of the girls come from Isaan, and yes, generally Isaan girls have darker skin...i am sure if 95% of the girls in Sukhumvit came from Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, farangs would be enjoying them just as much...
My first visit to BKK was last month (before I discovered ISG) and my next trip is in a few days. I've read the last 25 pages of BKK reports to get the knowledge I didn't have for the first time and I now have a short list which is not so short! In Sharks the girls were constantly moving around so your choice is much easier in weighing up their assets. In Cupid, I wished they had a buzzer... 'numbers 6, 13 and 37, stand up and do a twirl' and with so many women eyeing me up and intimating their wish to go upstairs I felt a little embarrassed to walk straight upto the glass like some other customers did and having seen the girls different reactions I couldn't help but smile to myself as it was pure comedy how they suddenly get the urge to get their compacts out to hide their faces.
I was more impressed by the hotter girls in the fishbowl who were 3000 Baht as opposed to the younger 'stars' at the side who were 3500 so I'm guessing the hotter ones I preferred were older and that is why they were less expensive. With my eye on the clock for my flight I decided to save myself for another time knowing exactly which girl I want if I go again in a few days.
I only go for above average girls as the opportunities to bed average girls are in abundance with my job in the airline industry. For me it's not about sex with just anyone and I have always been a little picky in scanning for the hotties when many a friend would choose the hog of the group to score and bag a grateful ****. Being in my early thirties with a surfer look I seem to be well received in non western countries which naturally I like to make the most of. I don't agree. I've met several white skinned girls in Pattaya who struggled to get farang customers.
Also, the majority of really hot white skinned beauties, especially in Bangkok, won't make themselves available to farang. They simply don't need to.
Can we change that.

Then the Farang got loud and bang his hand on the bar and that brought attention to the others which I assume were Thai bouncers. He then back up and was looking straight at the guy he was having a argument seconds later lights out! End of story!

While it is true that you normally won't have any scary unexpected problems with girls in soapies, I've never had 'great service' there. Service there is almost always very far below what you can get from freelancers.

Interesting. I'm sure you're right that many girls on Suttisan or in Thai-oriented soapies are from Issan, but generally speaking they seem to pick the much lighter skinned ones. The darker ones being relegated to low end brothels and farang-service. I also meet quite a lot of Northern girls and regular central Thai girls in Thai soapies, both in Bkk and in Isaan. Its somewhat a given here in Isaan that the majority of girls in medium to higher priced brothels will be from 'Nan' or 'Chiang Rai'. In the really high priced places they have lots of central Thai girls.
But as far as 'middle class' girls - yes obviously they do not enter into normal mass-marketed P4P. Why would they?
