One of the ways I'd gauge if a girl in Habanos was going to pull a rush job is to invite her for a couple of drinks first. This worked surprisingly well because there is no such rule in Habanos. You could literally walk in, grab a girl and walk out.

A very short (one day first trip) to Cartagena. Due to work-related obligations, I was committed to staying at the Intercontinental in Bocagrande. Since the thought was this was not a "chica-friendly" place, I'd already also booked an apartment in El Laguito va airbnb ($48 + $6 for second guest + $5 check-in fee) near LDV. With regards to the Intercontinental, another guest (female) reported to me that they signed a document indicating that "no prostitution" would occur in their room. I was fascinated by this. Never saw that asked before. I don't remember noticing or being asked when I signed for my room. Regardless, I found not one really checking or bothering anyone walking to the elevators to go their room. Although, the Intercontinental may be "not chica friendly", I think if you walked in confidently (either with a girl or even the girl coming separately, but dressed appropriately), I doubt you would have any trouble.
In any event, I had other guests I knew at the hotel, so having the apartment for mongering was definitely the right call.
I did not think to try tinder, so during the day I tried walking along Playa Hollywood to see if might find one of the beach handlers to point me in the right direction to find freelancers. No luck. I decided to suspend efforts until the evening. After dinner in el centro, I headed to LDV just a little after 10 PM (Thursday night). The place was DEAD - 4 guys in side having beers, and no girls. I realize this place doesn't get going until after 11 PM, but was surprised to see zero girls. In any event outside LDV, there were 4 girls. One of them, Andrea, was pretty cute (8/10 for what this subjective scale is worth) with huge natural tits. She smiled at me and I waved her over. She didn't speak any English and decide my reservations about my Spanish, I rose to the occasion in a moment of need! She was from Medellin but had been in Cartagena for a while. I was expecting the guard at the desk to ask her to sign in and charge me another $5 check in fee, but we met no resistance. Once in my place, Andrea and I got down to business. She did not ask for the money to begin with. She was very nice in fact. Gave a phenomenal BJ (deep throat) -- we did it with the cover at my request, but it was clear BBBJ was on the menu. She was so good, I confirmed with her that I could have a second round (I didn't want to be in agony and try to prolong things in fear of no round 2) - I felt stupid for not having negotiated this in advance, because here was a good opportunity for her to up-charge. However, she said it was fine. So round 1 ended with the CBJ. After some chit-chat, round 2 started the same way (she is super) and finished with her on top.

From an overall value perspective, clearly not great for Colombia (I spent far less for a lot more in Bogota), but I was satisfied. Felt a lot safer in Cartagena compared with Bogota.

You can stand near the bar like me and let most of them grab your balls when they walk by. In LDV you don't need to pay a bar fine or anything. I haven't been there in a couple years. I don't go in there when I go to Cartagena anymore. The girls ask for too much, and so many of them ask for you to buy them a damn drink. My long time lady friend that I met there, has stopped working there for a long time now. When she wants to work in Cartagena she only uses Tinder. She is a very good looking girl and can get a high price. Me and her are pretty good friends now. I only ask her if she wants to go somewhere with me when I feel like it and she will travel with me. I just pay for the trip and nothing else.
If you want more freelancers go near the Hard Rock cafe around sunset. You will see ladies all over the place near the big clock tower and some of the bars near there. I actually like the bar with lots of freelancers called Tu Candela. It is very close to the Hard Rock cafe. I like Tu Candela way better than LDV.
Use Google maps, find the Hard Rock cafe on Google maps, then use streetview. Someone from Google walked around with their 360 cameras. They walk right in front of Tu Candela. When not looking to bang chicas it's pretty cool to walk around the old city. I'd rather stay in the old city, than to pretend like Cartagena has a nice beach or something. Except, most places inside the walled city are very old, and things tend to not work so well. I've used Airbnb inside the walled city twice. No problem with ladies coming to the room. If you use Aribnb, try to rent from an American or foreigner. They almost will never care about, or ask, or find out if you bring a woman to their property.

From what I've been reading, it sounds like I should probably stay away from LDV, frequent the clock tower plaza, and use Tinder to find beautiful diversions.
