HK shuts down on a Signal 8 and above. Usually government gives a couple hours advance warning to allow people to get home / shelter before everything is shut down. Once Signal 8 is raised, many ramifications so best to be where one wants to be to wait out the storm. Even WGs batten down the hatches. LOL
But yet some dude staying in TST rang my best friend at 2am asking for a visit. He couldn't understand why a taxi was unavailable.
And I had a guy who wanted me to visit the Kowloon Shangri-la.
Strange people out there!
There was a Typhoon 9 signal in 2009.

Curious, would you have gone to hotel closer to Wanchai and within walking distance? Could charge double or triple like the taxi drivers. Not sure if MTR closes during an 8.

It is more dangerous walking. You could be blown to Vietnam.
I suppose my friend could have jumped on her broom and flown to TST.
I got some new information that they got a new license and don't need to close on Thursday.
Can anyone confirm?
have been lurking in this forum for years & have been the beneficiary of some really useful info without giving anything back.
hong kong can be a bit hit & miss for hobbyists, the bait & switch is popular as well as many wasted jouneys up endless flights of stairs to frequently find a mix of shabby premises, questionable hygeine & a general disregard for customer service & privacy or no english spoken.
a few days ago i found a massage place in cochrane street which pleasantly surprised me in many ways.
despite being on the 5th floor there is a lift, the place has apparantly been open for less than 2 months according to one of the staff.
i enjoyed a great 1 hour session with a prc lady called cindy, she spoke virtually no english but what she lacked in language skills she more than made up for in the service she provided, i won't bore you with the details but needless to say i was very happy with my choice.
i was about to leave & was asked by another lady who spoke good english what i thought of the service, we got chatting & she offered me a beer which i accepted.
she then proceeded to the 7/11 shop on the ground floor & returned with 2 large cold tsing tao, nice touch!
mid way through the 2nd beer i was beginning to feel the urge for another session, this time i chose the english speaking lady who it turned out was the owner.
ended up spending an hour wth her & then another hour with her & cindy together.
those 2 free beers turned out to be a wise investment for the owner, i ended up spending quite a bit more than i had anticipated but was extremely happy & refreshed.
the place is above the 7/11 at the top of cochrane street, almost directly under mid levels escalators, the entrance is on gage street just to the left of 7/11 as you look at it face on.
it's very clean, safe, well designed, good showers & clean towels with staff that seem to know their job without the hardened cynical edge that some of their peers have.
total damage for 1 hour hk $438 plus tip, less for 45 minutes.
name was perfect spa

I have a question to this page. It's a nice feature, that all girls show up their service option. One thing catches my eye: Almost all of them deny blowjob without condom (BBBJ) but the same timethey offer CIM. From my point of view CIM withouth BBBJ is far from possible. So how is this to be interpreted? Anyone can tell me?
Nep 2 got another 3 month renewal of their licence at the last minute.

Name was Perfect Spa
We want the details. Particularly whether you fucked her, what was on the menu, whether the ladies there are good looking and their approximate ages. If you fucker her that is a good price and a good location.
