I have booked a trip for Carnival. I am using points to stay at a hotel pre-carnival but they will not let me use points during Carnival. Rates for a cheap hotel such as the one I have reserved is 750$/night and is nowhere near the beach (Rua Aprazivel 163 Santa Teresa

Since I will spend 5 days on the beach pre-carnival, I am not as concerned where I will stay during the carnival itself. I am looking for a Safe Clean place that is about half of the one I have reserved. I want to go to the Event probably Sunday the 19th which is the first main parade and then I will head out of town on the 20th. Any Ideas where I can stay during Carnival that will save me cash? Something that is away from Copa / Ipanema may be OK if there is transportation to the Parade.

Also, tickets for the parade are expensive. Any suggestions? Tickets run from 180-520$ for grand stands.

If you rent a standard apartment room for 24 hours, the daily rate is only about R$ 200 and they do not raise the rates during Carnaval. You may not be able to reserve that far in advance without pre-paying for the room. Even if they will not take advance reservation you can usually rent the room one or two days before check-in. You will also be a short taxi ride to / from the Sambodromo.

You know they will be on time and easier to throw back the ones you don't like since they only have to walk about 3 blocks from the hotel. However since they don't have broadband I will probably not be able to stay there as my primary.

Since you have sessioned there can you walk through the process of checking in plus the arrivals of the Scortshow chicks? Can you book a festa with more than 2 girls? Will the hotel charge more than the R52 for 4 hours? Do they give you free bottled water?

Since Scortshow usually charge R40 roundtrip for taxi, I think this is a good idea. Plus you don't have to clean up. You can have them send you all the cute new ones that haven't been photographed yet for a go-see. The price difference is R12 plus your roundtrip Metro cost which is R6.40.

Real just hit 1. 84 today. My living expenses have dropped 25% from 3 months ago! Now if it can just get towards 2. 0.

Maybe it's just cultural differences but I just have never had a strong emotional connection with any of them. Sure, a lot of them are cool to hang out with but I haven't met one that is super smart, witty, or charismatic. Of course, part of the issue is the language barrier where my Portuguese isn't great. But even with the English speaking ones, there is no emotional connection. It could be my subconscious always telling me "this girl ain't the one for you" so there's no way for me to fall for one of these girls.

All these girls keep a lot of "Options" available, even if they quit the so called "GDP" game. I met such a girl a few years back who was working in one of the best brothels in the city while going to school. She clearly has been interested in me for a long time, but I know through other sources that she has many other guys that she sees on the side. I have been around for a long time and knew that she lied all the time to cover her tracks.

Fast forward to the last trip I took. She "Confessed" that she not only sees other guys on the side, but she charges them to compliment her pay from her new career, which is farly decent. I guess she felt some level of guilt by not being upfront with me about her secondary gig. I told her it does not matter and I understand her circumstances, so she should not worry about my feelings. Heck, I enjoy the variety of ass that I myself tend to seek and crave when I am in Rio myself and she knows all the people that I do when there anyway, that GDP network is unavoidable if you go there often.

She looked so relieved after that encounter that we had a really tremendous session that day, one of the best I've had in my life. I guess she thought she was hurting my feelings or something by being deceiptful. I think that by being honest made her feel better and she rewarded me with a mind-blowing encounter. As I told this gal before, there is no way I'll stop seeing her, ever, she has the flattest stomach combined with the best looking waist, hips, legs, ass and ass that I've ever seen. Just a really curvy as hell, soft and firm everywhere, velvet mouth and tremendous bedroom skills. Even so, I still like to go and seek new ass, after all, this IS Rio.

She had been married to an American who cheated on her. She later married another American who appreciated her and as far as I know are still together. My experience is that the men do not realize or underestimate what is required to make a relationship work with a woman from another culture. They have never been successful with women and are anxious to get her home and show her off to their friends. Or, they are men whom have had one failed relationship with an American woman after another. For some odd reason they think that a Brazilian woman who doesn't speak English or if she does, not very well, can't work and will be homesick five mintutes after she arrives, is the ideal candidate for a wife.

All they are thinking about is the great sex they now will get for free and how envious all other guys will be of them.

It is easy on this forum to blame the GDPs. Survey says that it was the man who got bored with his puppy and when he couldn't take her back, went out to play with another one.

It is kind of normal for a Brazilian to see other people whilst in relationship. If you try and change this then you do not understand Brazilian culture.

Why do the 4X4 girls take you to the room first and then leave to go get their bags and change clothes? Why don't they go to the room with their things and ready to start the session like Monte Carlos girls? I only ask, because I wonder if some of the guys are getting ripped off on their 1 hour session, when the girl is gone for 10 minutes.

Also in 4x4 giving you 5-10 minutes alone gives you a chance to shower while in MC the rooms do not have showers.

And as others have said your time should start when the girl comes back to the room not when she drops you off. Make a point of checking your watch and you will be less likely to be shorted.

I always shower shave etc multiple times in the sauna room before initiating a session with the girl in the boite, main strip section. In the 'interview' I tell the girl, I am already showered, and when she takes me to the cabine, I tell her I am already showered. The sauna room has mini packs of soap, shampoo, shaving gel, razors, toothbrushes, toothpaste. There is also a wet and dry sauna room. I am just saying this because for the first 4 or 6 times I went to 4x4 I didn't even realize all the amenities in the sauna room. You can actually go to 4x4 at 2PM when it opens, shower multiple times, take a girl by 5 PM (waiving $R50 entrada, so $R220 for 60 minutes, or $R200 for 40 minutes) , then circulate between the boate (main strip room) , sauna, and the back room (smoking room) for as long as until closing (the latest I stayed would be maybe 8 PM). You're surrounded by naked women who will screw you. What could be better?
