Stopped by in the morning, woman greets me (about 45 yo) and wakes up the 4 girls sleeping on couches in a big room that has flags hanging from the ceiling. Ran across an interesting PI-related graphic in my other life. This is a US Armed Services poster, circa WWII, used in the fight against VD. In WWI, VD laid up a significantly high percentage of soldiers, with every bit as much impact on fighting readiness as a battlefield injury. Without effective treatment heading into WWII, the Armed Services ramped up the propaganda machine to educate mostly ignorant and prudish, yet naturally horny recruits. The USA Government even drafted Walt Disney Studios to make training films on this and other topics.
