I really should have took the girl at 6 that worked me hard and said she'd come back and treat me good for 700, if only there was a monger time machine.

Side note: Met a brit who has a place here and he told me a similar story to one I heard here about a guy getting picked up for smoking. In this case he was drinking in public. He confirmed my theory that if you make a big enough fuss they let you go. He went from a 3000 fine to them letting him walk because he pulled a Simon Cowel. He pulled the embassy card fairly quickly. Also he agreed that if you're not doing anything wrong you'll be fine, he just happened to get caught the only time he has ever had a mixed drink in public. This guy was stocky but only like 5'6 so I'm pretty sure the cops just want the easy money and easy money keeps them coming back for more. 3000 pesos is not a ton of money but we both agreed that if you bend over and take it you are bound to be a target again or help other white guys become targets.[/QUOTE]Thank you about your differents reports.

One of my buddies who is a lawyer in Australia for a big international firm with offices everywhere once pulled the embassy card and started arguing with a cop in phils over drinking in public (burgos out of all places). He got himself arrested and in the police station he continued to argue and probably swore at the wrong person there. On the end he payed the fine spent the night in police station and got a nice black stamp in his passport the next morning. He was given 48 hours to finish up his business in phils and leave. I no longer travel with him anywhere, I prefer to meet him at the final destination these days as he gets stuck almost at every airport trying to explain the black stamp in his passport.

Swearing or name calling or saying bad things is not necessary. But simply insisting you talk to your embassy because you are unaware of laws here and you have no problem working through everything peacefully but just need some help from your government figuring out the best way to do that. It is a law they have to uphold here or in any other country. I think the odds of someone having problems with the police here are slim to none, but anything is possible. I read people only carry 2k or less and I kind of did that in the beginning but now I carry a lot more only because I feel way safer here than in most countries. I'm not sure where all the worry comes from. I feel the same here as in Chicago.

I thought Diamond was pretty nice though, they put the effort into 5 stars. I'm about to head to MBC at about 1pm to see how the daytime report holds up. I was impressed at 6pm on thur so who knows maybe I will be surprised. Nothing starts going in makati till later anyway so stuck at New World spanking it until night time. Hopefully stomach will keep some what at bay luckily MBC bathrooms aren't something I wouldn't want to use if need be.

1PM at MBC is still pretty damn good. A pretty large selection grabbed 2 girls took them to hotel pool, got rid of one because she got drunk and annoying and sessioned with the other. She never asked for a dime just like the last one but I paid 1600.
