You do not know this city like I do
It seems unlikely any of us are acquainted with enough people and what they are thinking to know what the "locals point of view" is. In a city of more than 2 million people it's just not realistic and that doesn't even account for the factor of individual circumstances.
This is not speculation. This is not what-ifs. I've assimilated into the community, and the recent campaign against gringos for the acts of a very, very tiny few has convinced many Colombians, and I would argue the majority of Paisas in Medellin that most men who come here are complete degenerate and are tuning their city. If you don't believe me, and are committed to self-denial, then just go on Twitter, and search the words, "gringos Colombia". And I guarantee you, within just a few minutes, you will see 100's, if not 1000's of tweets of Colombians calling gringos who visit Colombia the most despicable things you can call any human being. There is your proof, don't take my word for it. I suspect that since the mayor of Medellin has created such a nasty reputation of foreigners coming that the Colombians will retaliate in a pretty serious way soon.
Trump Places Travel Ban to Colombia
BREAKING: President Trump said he is placing tariffs, a travel ban and other measures after the government rejected two planes carrying migrants, and the country's president said he would prohibit USA Deportation flights entry.
The Medellin authorities and residents will like this. No more gringos in Medellin. Puta prices will plummet.
